Anke M.: Jeez Rayn, what’s wrong with you? You and Genaire have fairly gone of the tracks!
I know neither one of you are stupid, but posting this nonsense really pisses me of!

Rayn: What’s wrong with me!? Sorry, but I’m right on track! War is a racket and murder is wrong! It’s not “collateral damage,” as the professional liar, O-bomb-a, claims. Belief in such a morally-bankrupt concept requires a huge leap of faith in the religion of “government.” However, I’m not a Statist, but rather, a “political atheist,” so I DO NOT “bow to political gods”!

And, far from stupid, I’m actually very knowledgeable about US foreign policy, and world politics. My writing and art records speak for themselves! Meanwhile, a few days ago, America’s president authorized the bombing of a hospital in Afghanistan, killing an estimated 22 civilians, including members of “Doctors Without Borders,” which happened to win the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999.

So, you’re willing to dismiss PURE FACT as “nonsense,” while being pissed off that I posted the truth!? That’s your prerogative, but rest assured that I’m pissed off, too – pissed off that America’s War-Criminal-In-Chief, much like his bloodthirsty predecessor, continues to engage in yet another illegal, immoral War of aggression, while committing Crimes against humanity in his authorization of the maiming and murdering of civilians with drone bombs, as a matter of policy.

Robert C.: A man can be cool and relatable and kill children in Pakistan. Binary oppositions of good and evil are largely fantasies His intentions is not to kill children in Pakistan. He is not Hitler. Maybe his enemies when engaging in warfare should not have their families in the mix.

Rayn: The man appears cool and relatable only to those who accept him murdering innocent children. Labeling the man’s war crimes as “warfare” and calling innocent children as “enemies” perfectly illustrates George Orwell‘s point that “political language… is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable.”

Obama certainly isn’t Hitler… but, Hitler is not my litmus test for whether or not evil is taking place.

Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, was a US citizen and an innocent child. Specifically, he was born in Denver, Colorado, and lived in American until he was 7 years old. He was murdered by a US drone strike while peacefully eating dinner at a restaurant in Yemen with his teenage cousin, who was also killed in the attack, along with at least five other civilians…

al-Awlaki was not even with his father the day he was murdered because he was still in the process of searching for him and he had not seen him in years. Sadly for him, it was during this very quest that he soon unwittingly entered a lawless, war *criminal* zone, where the CIA had been regularly terrorizing civilians for years in the name of “fighting terror.”

Such flimsy excuses for al-Awlaki’s murder are nothing new, though….

Genaire: Question: Can the same be said about Truman’s nuclear bombing of two civilians cities in Japan? Did the punishment fit the crime? Considering the fact they bombed military targets our retaliation of bombing civilian cities in my rational opinion doesn’t fit the crime.

We are fighting “terror”. Terror is not organized into strategically placed military facilities. These “terror” groups reside amongst innocent people special considerations must be made to stop the killing of these innocent people. Even greater effort must be made when considering we armed, trained and radicalized most of them through our imperialist foreign policies.

I equate it to Canada trying to kill the K.K.K. which is also a terrorist group. How can they kill a K.K.K. chapter without killing the innocent people surrounding these chapters? Does the killing of our innocent civilians justify the bombing of this terrorist group? When their are no clear cut lines of battle as is the case when fighting “terror” the whole world becomes an open target.

Israel Still Continues to Commit Crimes Against Humanity in Their Attack Upon the the Residents of the Gaza Strip

The following is a fully updated version of my two posts, “In the Past Two Weeks, Israel’s Government Has Massacred Nearly 600 Gazan Civilians, Because… Terrorism!,” and “Israel Continues to Commit Crimes Against Humanity in Their Attack Upon the the Residents of the Gaza Strip,” with many new links included at end. Like the previous two articles, I originally posted it to my Facebook wall…

I created this chart using the latest data from United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and a previously-published version of their “Palestinian Casualties” illustration, which I have modified to reflect the newest figures, since OCHA doesn’t release graphics as quickly as data…

 

According to the latest figures from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Israeli military forces have killed an estimated 1,843 Gazans since their July 7th launch of Operation “Protective Edge.” About 73% of this total represents civilian casualties. In other words, approximately 1,354 civilians have been murdered by Israel’s government so far, with about 415 of that total being children, and 214 being women, which together represent 46% of all civilian deaths…

Sadly, these numbers reveal that the world’s “Most Moral Army” continues to snuff out the lives of more children than it is killing Hamas “militants” in its latest war-criminal adventures inside Gaza! Gazan youths represent about one quarter of the Israeli governments total killings, and almost one third of their total civilian murder victims!

Props to every last the 7,000 peace-loving citizens of Israel who risked their safety on Saturday to gather together at Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square in order to firmly let the world know that being Jewish DOES NOT mean being PRO-WAR-CRIMES against the innocent civilians of Gaza! These brave Israeli war protesters faced off against an angry mob of their own fellow citizen-terrorists from the right wing, who not only chanted death threats at them, and continuously sang a song celebrating the IDF’s mass murder of Gazan children, but also eventually forced their way through police barricades, where they immediately began to block protesters from accessing one of Tel Aviv’s major streets. After the cavalry cops finally arrived and broke the up the roving mob, police then requested organizers to wrap up their event early for “safety” reasons. Protesters complied, disbanding without further incident…

The ill-will felt towards the Israeli left could be gauged well among the group of right-wing protesters that the police corralled in a separate part of the plaza. They continually shouted ‘Death to the leftists’ and expressed hope that ‘a rocket from Gaza’ would kill them. In addition they merrily sang ‘WHY IS THERE NO SCHOOL IN GAZA? BECAUSE NO MORE KIDS ARE LEFT.’ [emphasis mine] Some protesters tried to convince this group to stop singing these songs as they were detrimental to the message of support for the IDF that they were trying to promote, but to no avail.

Later in the evening these right-wing protesters tried to break through the police barrier into the greater demonstration and even succeeded for a short while to block Ibn Gevirol St., one of Tel Aviv’s major arteries. The police quickly pushed them out of the street with cavalry. During the clashes four protesters were arrested. Due to these outbursts of violence the police asked the organizers to cut the protest short. The demonstrators eventually left without incident.”

Here is a video recording of the large group of right-wing Israelis who showed up to this peace-promoting event in Tel Aviv in order to celebrate the Israeli government’s Gazan massacre, gleefully singing and chanting, “There’s no school tomorrow! There’s no children left in Gaza! Oleh!”:

Melissa M.: Really? IDFs mass murder? Their people wouldn’t be getting killed if they weren’t operating out of their homes and in front of their citizens. What is Israel supposed to do? If they see they are being targeted from a civilians home they need to take the home out. Of course it’s a no win for anyone but Hamas is giving Israel no choice.

Genaire: Israel is suppose to not keep these people in an open air prison. Israel is suppose to stop illegally expanding its borders into Palestinian territory.Israel is suppose to either give these people the right to take part in their government our release them from occupation (that has lasted 40+ years). Israel suppose to not intentionally target journalists offices. Israel is suppose to not intentionally target schools. Israel is suppose to not intentionally target UN facilities. Israel is suppose to not target children playing on the beach.Israel is suppose to not be a state based on an apartheid system. Should I go on?

Rayn: Yes. Really, Melissa. I consider the actions of the IDF to be mass murder, as well as a Crimes Against Humanity (or a War Crime, if you’re willing to qualify the Israeli government’s attack against the civilians of Gaza as a “war”). To blame Hamas for the massacre of Gazan civilians is a flawed exercise in causality. Since IDF forces are the ones pulling the triggers of their weapons, and executing trial-free death warrants on the hundreds upon hundreds of innocent, unaffiliated civilians of Gaza, all in pursuit of Hamas – terrorizing men, women and children, alike, in the process – truly, these victims “wouldn’t be getting killed if ” Israel’s government would simply refuse to indiscriminately murder them, and finally reject the immoral claim that such criminal activity EVER qualifies as a “right,” or as “self-defense,” since such logic is, indeed, EXACTLY the IDEOLOGY of a TERRORIST!!!
