(Jess Bidgood) She was a rising Democratic star. She was the first in her party to be elected state attorney general. She was one of the most powerful women in Pennsylvania.

But on Monday night, Kathleen G. Kane, the state’s top prosecutor, became a convicted criminal.

A jury found Ms. Kane, 50, guilty of nine criminal charges, including perjury and criminal conspiracy, convicting her of leaking grand jury information, and then lying about it, in an effort to discredit a political rival.

“F— the police! I f—ing hate cops and I hate that I’m a cop! All you guys do is harass black people!” Those were the alleged words of a St. Louis Park, Minn. police officer as she was being arrested for DWI after hitting a parked car outside of a northeast Minneapolis bar.

, 27, is charged with third-degree DWI, collision with an unattended vehicle, careless driving, and interfering with a peace office for the Aug. 5 incident outside of the NE Palace Bar.

A Native American student at Cal State Sacramento University was told by her history teacher that there was no genocide against the indigenous population of North America. When the student, Chiitaanibah Johnson, took issue with this claim and challenged him, she was ejected from the class and expelled.

The professor said he didn’t care for the term “genocide” as he didn’t think it accurately describes what happened in relation to Native American history.

U.S. History Professor Maury Wiseman accused Johnson of “hijacking” his class when she challenged him on this. He also pointed out that he was very offended at her accusations that he was a “bigot” and “racist.”

(Matt Agorist) Shortly after they realized the potential for wind energy creation in Wyoming, renewable energy companies began constructing turbines on private property and then selling the clean power they generated to the residents. However, shortly after their ventures began, Wyoming government officials, acting on behalf of fossil fuel interests, moved in for the kill.

The state legislature asked the question, “Who owns the wind?”

Without much debate, the Wyoming legislature quickly determined that the state does.
