Guns Are for the Elect, and Their Mercenaries!

As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following artwork here, being shared by the page, “Heartland Institute,” and originally posted it to my own wall, along with commentary…

“Rep. Rangel: Law abiding citizens just shouldn’t have to carry guns.
Reporter: But, you’re protected by guns all over the place here at the Capitol.
Rep. Rangel: Well, that’s a little different. I think we deserve… I think we need to be protected down here.”
– Rep. Charlie Rangel (D), New York City
(If this isn’t hypocrisy at the highest level, I don’t know what is.)

My Commentary: Silly peasants. Guns are for the elect, and their mercenaries!

(note: though I previously shared a slightly different version of this artwork in June of 2017, within my post, “To the State, No Lives Matter…,” I still felt compelled to offer up an alternative commentary when I saw it again, due to the recent anti-gun push triggered by the latest school shooting, here in the States)

Morally Defensible Reasons Not to Pay Taxes in America

As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following artwork here, being shared by the page, “I Don’t Trust the Government,” and originally posted it to my own wall, along with commentary…

“Stockhold Syndrome: a psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and have positive feelings towards their captors, sometimes to the point of defending them. Nathaniel Friedman (@freedarko): There is no morally defensible reason to not want to pay taxes and I’d even say if you don’t like taxes you’re immoral and maybe evil”

My Commentary: War on Drugs. Police brutality. Victimless “crimes.” War on Terror. Drone-bombing innocents. Wars of aggression. Empire-expanding imperialism. Overthrowing sovereign nations. These are just a few reasons to rightfully Withdraw Consent from a corrupt government (although this is precisely when one first discover their inability to legitimately opt out of even a portion of this State-Sponsored crime-spree, illuminating the fact that taxation is just a clever form of THEFT)…

Convincing the Masses to Accept Enslavement as Necessary

As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following artwork here, being shared by the page, “Bastiat Institute,” and originally posted it to my own wall, along with commentary…

“It’s been easier to convince people to hand over half their income, their children to war, and their freedoms in perpetuity, than to engage them in seriously considering how roads might function in the absense of taxation.”

Most Philadelphians Evade Illegitimate Soda Tax

I originally posted the following information and commentary onto my Facebook wall…

Drink Taxes Damage the Economy and Do Nothing to Cut Sugar Intake:

(Susan Neely) The start of the new year means new resolutions for millions of Americans. These include resolutions to lose weight, eat better, exercise more, and save money. In Philadelphia, local leaders set their own goals last January to curb obesity and raise revenue through a new tax on non-alcoholic beverages. But like so many New Year’s resolutions, the Philadelphia beverage tax fell short of the promises local officials made to consumers.

My Commentary: Whoa! Turns out that most Philadelphians are tax-evading criminals, who prefer to “steal” from the “public,” rather than pay their “fair share”! LOL!

But, Without Government, Who Would Privatize the Tax-Funded Roads?

City Workers Busted For Closing Street By United Center So Friends Can Park:

(Heather Cherone) Thirteen city employees have been disciplined for their role in a scheme that blocked off a street near the United Center so their friends and relatives could park for free during Bulls and Blackhawks games, Inspector General Joseph Ferguson said.

Inspectors working for the city’s watchdog staked out 16 games at the United Center from April 2015 to February 2016 — including nine Blackhawks playoff games — and witnessed employees of the Office of Emergency Management allowing 62 cars to park for free on the west side of Wood Street between Madison Street and Warren Boulevard, Ferguson said in his quarterly report released Monday.
