Economist and columnist Paul Krugman declared personal bankruptcy today following a failed attempt to spend his way out of debt.

In a Chapter 13 filing to the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York, lawyers for Krugman listed $7,346,000 in debts versus $33,000 in assets.

Rayn: Wait… I’m confused, now. I thought this article was supposed to be a parody, not a real news story!

I mean, just look at these two paragraphs:

Rayn: Since the first two eggs shown in this graphic are unfertilized, wouldn’t it be more consistent to show a picture of a bloody sanitary napkin in the last box, instead of a sperm latching onto an ovum?

“As it turns out, the anti-vaccinationists are remarkably consistent. Time and time again, they are shown to be wrong. I’m not sure how many times a group needs to be wrong before people stop seeing them as credible. Perhaps people need to be reminded of how many times this group has been wrong?”

Genaire: I can’t say for certain how wrong or right they are, I can say for certain that most medicine’s side effects are far worse then the illness they have been created to treat. I would think the same would apply to vaccinations. I would also ask myself why would I want to get vaccinated when my body’s own immune system can do the same thing in most cases without the side effects.

Rayn: I’m referring to ALL of humanity, myself included! 🙂

Rayn: I’m not really a fan of hashish, but to each his own! 🙂

Rayn: That wasn’t hashish! It was CANNABIS! 🙂 <3

Stan H.: they are all pretty much the same to me

Rayn: I’m sorry to hear that. I can assure you that they are not the same. Cannabis is natural, and in the exact concentration nature intended it. Hashish, on the other hand, is a man-made derivative of cannabis, wherein the more potent chemicals within the buds are extracted, while the leafy portion is left behind, resulting in a much more concentrated substance with which to ingest or smoke. Can you understand the difference, now?

Stop Posting Regularly About the Oppression of Collectivism Because Someone Labels it As “Obnoxious,” or Continue to Exercise Free Speech, Regardless of How “Tasteless” it is Deemed?

Rayn: Indeed! And, every time an individual shills for centralized government, the wall of oppression rises!

Adam G.: Okay, it’s kind of getting really obnoxious that you reduce all rhetoric about oppression to being about centralized government. That might be your position, but there are other viewpoints and you are totally discounting them.

Rayn: To reply to your comment, Stephen, I’ll quote Lauryn Hill: “Knowing my condition is the reason I must die!” 🙂

Adam, that sounds like a personal problem, if you ask me! I discounted nothing, and just so happen to not consent to being governed by the “representatives” of the collective! I choose to focus on and write about the oppression committed by centralized government in a great deal of my posts because it is very special interest of mine – as I continue to personally endure the tyranny of this system DAILY – so, you are incorrect in your statement that I “reduce *all* rhetoric about oppression to being about centralized government.” There are, indeed, other forms of oppression taking place in this world besides the kind I typically focus on, and yet, NOTHING I’ve written here, or even previously, discounts their existence, whatsoever! I’d love for you to prove otherwise!
