Unfazed by the “right” and “left” of American politics, she bodly chooses, rather, to focus on what is “right” vs. “wrong.” With the loss of her son, Casey, to the senseless war in Iraq, she honors his memory by making it her personal mission to end our Imperial Adventures overseas, period.
During the week of August 23-30, while Obama’s vacationing @ an expensive resort on Martha’s Vineyard, Cindy will join other activists in letting him know that there’s no relaxing when peole are still dying in our wars! She’s a courageous American, a real Humanitarian & a true patriot!

Rayn: As I have said before, Obama IS working on the promises he made, and all is going according to planned! Allow me to direct your attention to some of the comments he made when he was still just a candidate on the campaign trail, looking to secure American votes:
Speaking from Afghanistan in a July 20, 2008 interview on “Face the Nation,” Obama said, ”it’s time for us to withdraw some of our combat troops out of Iraq, and deploy them here in Afghanistan, and I think we have to seize that opportunity. Now’s the time for us to do it” (http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=4275914n). Translation: MORE WAR IN AFGHANISTAN!
Speaking on August 1, 2007 in an address to the Woodrow Wilson International Center in Washington, DC, Obama stated the same exact agenda, taking it a step further: “The first step must be getting off the wrong battlefield in Iraq, and taking the fight to the terrorists in Afghanistan and Pakistan” (http://www.stripes.com/article.asp?section=104&article=58663). Translation: MORE WAR IN AFGHANISTAN! NEW ILLEGAL WAR OF AGGRESSION AGAINST PAKISTAN!
According to Obama, “if we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf will not act, we will” (http://www.reuters.com/news/video?videoId=62500&newsChannel=domesticNews). Translation: NEW ILLEGAL COVERT WAR OF AGGRESSION AGAINST PAKISTAN!
Obama even went as far as saying, “we must not turn a blind eye to elections that are neither free nor fair – our goal is not simply an ally in Pakistan; it is a democratic ally” (read transcript of entire speech here: http://www.barackobama.com/2007/08/01/the_war_we_need_to_win.php) Translation: REGIME CHANGE AND NATION-BUILDING IN PAKISTAN!
In August of 2007, in an article entitled “Renewing America’s Leadership,” published in the Council on Foreign Relations’ (CFR) “Foreign Affairs” Magazine, Obama wrote, “I will not hesitate to use force, unilaterally if necessary, to protect the American people or our vital interests whenever we are attacked or imminently threatened. We must also consider using military force in circumstances beyond self-defense in order to provide for the common security that underpins global stability — to support friends, participate in stability and reconstruction operations, or confront mass atrocities” (read transcript of entire speech here: http://www.globalpolicy.org/component/content/article/153/26336.html). Translation: NEW UNPROVOKED, ILLEGAL WARS OF AGGRESSION AGAINST MIDDLE-EASTERN SOVEREIGN NATIONS!
In this same article, Obama also claimed that “we must develop a strong international coalition to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and eliminate North Korea’s nuclear weapons program. Iran and North Korea could trigger regional arms races, creating dangerous nuclear flashpoints in the Middle East and East Asia. In confronting these threats, I will not take the military option off the table. But our first measure must be sustained, direct, and aggressive diplomacy — the kind that the Bush administration has been unable and unwilling to use.” Translation: NEW ILLEGAL WAR OF AGGRESSION AGAINST NORTH KOREA! NEW ILLEGAL WAR OF AGGRESSION AGAINST IRAN!
See what I mean? Obama was always just another Bush, hell-bend on expanding America’s wars in the Middle East. I tried to warn as many people as I could not to vote for this warmongering pig, but only a select few took the time to review my research!
But, you know what? It’s never to late to turn this slimeball into the LAME DUCK he should be! We can prevent his re-election if we spread the truth around, and let people know that they were fooled by this FALSE PEACE CANDIDATE! (Click Here to Continue Reading This Post)

Rayn: The war criminal, Obama, should have been awarded an Oscar for “Best Actor,” not a Nobel Peace Prize!
Charles C.: I thought I was the only one out there that feels that way. He does everything that Bush did during the last 8 years, only difference is he somehow convinced the world that he’s different. Only change I see is a slightly darker skin tone not the change in government that he preached.
Rayn: You’re not the only one! Believe me! I tried to warn everyone about his intentions before he was even elected (along with all of the other warmongering candidates)! There were only a few anti-war candidates to choose from (i.e. Ron Paul, Cynthia McKinney, Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich), and Obama definitely wasn’t one of them! He bragged about his murderous plans for Pakistan and Afghanistan over and over when he was still just a senator!
Noone should be surprised that he has done nothing to stop Bush’s criminal wars overseas! Remember these interviews:

Obama, like Bush before him, is just another wealthy elitist puppet, serving his corporate masters well. Imperialism is the name of the American political game, and both parties, republican and democrat, are players. Our two-party system is a fraud and only represents the false paradigm, with no real choices to be had. Until we realize that we are being fooled, we will continue to desperately search outside of ourselves for “leaders,” when the only true “change” can come from within.

Ford was acting on the advice of medical experts, who believed they were dealing with a virus potentially as deadly as the one that caused the 1918 Spanish influenza pandemic. The virus surfaced in February at Fort Dix, New Jersey, where 19-year-old Pvt. David Lewis told his drill instructor that he felt tired and weak, although not sick enough to skip a training hike. Lewis was dead with 24 hours. […] Mass vaccinations started in October, but within weeks reports started coming in of people developing Guillain-Barré syndrome, a paralyzing nerve disease, right after taking the shot. Within two months, 500 people were affected, and more than 30 died. Amid a rising uproar and growing public reluctance to risk the shot, federal officials abruptly canceled the program Dec. 16. My Commentary: America suffered from a previous outbreak of swine-flu in 1976. Interestingly, this particular outbreak began at an Army base in Fort Dix, New Jersey. The background is as follows: after a recruit died mysteriously, an autopsy was performed, & it was determined that swine-flu had caused his death. Testing began & army doctors soon realized that at least 500 soldiers were also infected, though none were ill. Under pressure from health officials, who saw a possible pandemic on their hands, then-President Gerald Ford spent $125 million funding a mass inoculation program – aimed at protecting the American public. However, within weeks, some who took the shot began to develop “Guillain-Barré syndrome, a paralyzing nerve disease. Within two months, 500 individuals were affected, and more than 30 died.” The public responded angrily, and the program was stopped.
The moral of the story: while swine-flu claimed only one victim, the vaccine claimed over 30 lives, & crippled nearly 500 individuals!!

(Carrie Johnson, Julie Tate – Washington Post) Justice Department documents released yesterday offer the fullest account to date of Bush administration interrogation tactics, including previously unacknowledged strategies of slamming a prisoner into a wall and placing an insect near a detainee terrified of bugs.
Authorities said they will not prosecute CIA officers who used harsh interrogation techniques with the department’s legal blessing. But in a carefully worded statement, they left open the possibility that operatives and higher-level administration officials could face jeopardy if they ventured beyond the boundaries drawn by the Bush lawyers.
My Commentary: I am absolutely DISGUSTED by Obama’s proclamation that “YES, WE CAN” protect TORTURERS from criminal PROSECUTION! Regardless of his apologist claims, to put war criminals on trial for the horrors they have engaged in has NOTHING to do with “RETRIBUTION” and EVERYTHING to do with JUSTICE!!! “Nothing will be gained by spending our time and energy laying blame for the past,” Obama claims? How about the fact that it would help put an end to the egregious human rights abuses that are STILL CURRENTLY BEING COMMITTED by the American government as a matter POLICY in the name of the “War on Terrorism,” with full “legal” authorization!?
