(Brent JohnsonLast month, a bill was introduced in the state Legislature that caused some to worry they may soon be ticketed for drinking coffee behind the wheel.

On Thursday morning, the state Assembly transportation committee will discuss that measure and two similar bills as it holds a hearing to consider how the Garden State can crack down on distracted driving.

The panel will also hear testimony from the National Transportation Safety Board on an issue that data shows has become a leading cause for fatal care crashes in the age of cell phones and other gadgets.

My Commentary: Victimless pre-crime “laws”: providing agents of the State the “legal” pretext to accost otherwise innocent and peaceful people, in the hopes of extorting them “for their safety.” Question or resist this injustice, and you will be beaten, arrested, thrown into a cage, and/or murdered.

Repeat after me: We are free! We just need more laws! We just need more taxes! We just need the right ruler! 😉

But, Without Government, Warlords Would Take Over!

Maryland Police Ban Tourists from Taking Roadside Pictures With Sunflowers:
http://thefreethoughtproject.com/maryland-police-ban-sunflowers/

(John Vibes) Each year, towards the end of summer, sunflowers pop up in fields across Harford County and they become somewhat of an attraction for people who want to take pictures or pick a few flowers to take with them.

However, this year, local police have ruined the fun and issued a statement telling motorists that they are no longer allowed to pull over to appreciate the sunflowers.

There has not been a major incident or accident to prompt this ban, just some complaints of minor traffic slowdowns on a country road. The field is located on a country road and near a red light, so while cars would have to stop to allow pedestrians to cross the road, the traffic on the street is so calm that it does not cause any major congestion.

My Commentary: Authoritarianism is a disease. We must purge this corruption, or it will continue to rot the very roots of our societies.

Never Forget Pot Pol’s Communist-Fueled Khmer Rouge Genocide in Cambodia

Never Forget: Life After the Khmer Rouge Genocide:
http://www.gq.com/story/cambodia-khmer-rouge-michael-paterniti

() Once upon a time—1975, actually, in Cambodia—there was a regime so evil that it created an antisociety where torture was currency and music, books, and love were abolished. This regime ruled for four years and murdered nearly 2 million of its citizens, a quarter of the population. The perversion was so extreme, the acts so savage, that three decades later, the country still finds itself reeling.

Attemping to Rule Over the Innocent and Peaceful is a Form of Aggression, and Stands Out as Completely Illegitimate

There’s Almost No Difference Between Democrats and Republicans:
https://alibertarianfuture.com/big-government/republicans-and-democrats/theres-difference-democrats-republicans/

Name a single significant part of the federal government that Bush cut when he went into office. You can’t. Now name a single significant piece of Bush’s government that Obama “changed”. You can’t do that either. Both Presidents were all talk and are in relatively complete agreement about what 95% of the government does. The fact is there isn’t much difference between Democrats and Republicans.

Just look at that Venn diagram above that lays out many of the most important issues of today. There’s almost no difference between Democrats and Republicans there. The only things separating them are a few token issues. The deep state of unelected bureaucrats continues on unhindered no matter which party occupies the White House or controls the Congress. The only thing that changes within Federal departments are the increases of their budgets. Republicans and Democrats defend that status quo.

My Commentary: They both want to rule over the innocent and peaceful, making them completely illegitimate aggressors.
