() The answer lies in human psychology. And probably like the old observation about history, people who refuse to understand human psychology are doomed to be victims of psychological manipulation. How is it that even members of peace groups have now come to support US bombing? One lady framed the issue like this: “I request that we discuss and examine why the videotaped beheading of a human being is understood to be more egregious than the explosion (almost totally invisible to the public) of a human being by a missile or bomb fired from a drone.”

Evidence of Pre-Meditated Murder in Case of James Boyd Execution by Police

I originally posted the following information and commentary onto my Facebook wall…

In March, Albuquerque police shot and killed a homeless man who had been illegally camping in an incident that was caught on tape and led to a storm of controversy over the decision to open fire.

Now, months later, a newly released video reveals that Officer Keith Sandy had, two hours earlier, talked about shooting 38-year-old James Boyd in the penis and dismissively referred to him as a ‘lunatic.’

Friends said the mentally ill Boyd had decided to camp out in the foothills above the city after homeless shelters had closed, and police negotiated with him for about five hours before fatally shooting him in the back.

My Commentary: Remember James Boyd? He was the homeless man who was confronted, shot and murdered by police in New Mexico for the victimless crime of “illegally camping” in the sprawling wilderness of the “federally-owned” Sandia foothills.

As it turns out, his murderer was recorded bragging about his intent to assault and kill his victim two hours prior to committing his crime…

But, of course, as an agent of the State, he faces no first degree murder charges… nor will he likely ever!

Discussing the Fact that Helping Others is Slowly Becoming a Crime in America

The following correspondence originally took place on my Facebook wall, upon my post, “In America, Helping Others is Slowly Becoming a Crime“…

Rayn: “Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also a prison.” – Henry Thoreau

“One has a moral obligation to disobey unjust laws.” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

“64-year-old Constance Manzanares drowned after she became trapped in her car in a drainage canal in El Paso, Texas. When police arrived, they threatened several young men with arrest who were in the water, attempting to rescue her. The police rescue failed, allowing the woman to drown.”

Surveillance camera footage recorded from the ER at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh more than two years ago shows Rev. Earl Baldwin Jr., a local community activist known for speaking out against street violence, crying over the body of his dead 23-year-old stepson, Mileek Grissom.

“I needed to tell him his family was going to be okay,” Baldwin told WPXI this week. “I was going to do everything I could to make sure they were okay.”

As he sobbed above the boy however, surveillance camera footage shows that police officers in the emergency room started to wrestle Baldwin away from his step-son, with one cop eventually using his Taser stun-gun on the man.
