US Enters Yemen War, Bombing Houthis Who Launched Missiles at Navy Ship:

The United States has launched its first strike on Houthi-controlled territory in Yemen in retaliation for days of attacks on a navy warship, becoming an active combatant in a brutal war led by Washington’s ally Saudi Arabia.

The Pentagon announced late on Wednesday that it struck and destroyed three radar sites controlled by the Iranian-backed Houthi movement in Yemen. The sites were described as being involved in two missile attacks over the past four days on the destroyer USS Mason, operating out of the Bab al-Mandeb waterway between Yemen and east Africa.

There was no immediate word on any casualties from the US attack on the radar sites, which the Pentagon noted came with the direct authorization of Barack Obama.

My Commentary: Hmmm… The American government’s been drone bombing Yemen for years, with very little mention about it among the public, and the media, alike (even though we’re all forced to fund it with the tax dollars they extort from us)… And, most sadly and disgustingly, these murderous criminals are now escalating their war of aggression against this sovereign nation, even more… I’m so sick of this completely immoral devilry… Does *anyone* else feel the same? Or, is the lure of being a complacent, comfortably apathetic voting slob just too great to resist for most of y’all?

In a damning commentary on the rush to invade Iraq, Sir John Chilcot’s inquiry found “diplomatic options had not” at the time “been exhausted. Military action was therefore not a last resort” — as then Prime Minister Tony Blair led the people of the U.K. to believe.

While the Chilcot Report proffers scathing insight into the circumstances surrounding the U.K.’s part in one of the most contentious invasions of a sovereign state in modern times, findings dually skewer then U.S. President George W. Bush’s reckless rush to force military action.

“Military action might have been necessary later,” the BBC summarized several key points found by the Inquiry, “but in March 2003: There was no imminent threat from Saddam Hussein; The strategy of containment could have been adapted and continued for some time; The majority of the Security Council supported continuing UN inspections and monitoring.

I know neither one of you are stupid, but posting this nonsense really pisses me of!

Rayn: What’s wrong with me!? Sorry, but I’m right on track! War is a racket and murder is wrong! It’s not “collateral damage,” as the professional liar, O-bomb-a, claims. Belief in such a morally-bankrupt concept requires a huge leap of faith in the religion of “government.” However, I’m not a Statist, but rather, a “political atheist,” so I DO NOT “bow to political gods”!

And, far from stupid, I’m actually very knowledgeable about US foreign policy, and world politics. My writing and art records speak for themselves! Meanwhile, a few days ago, America’s president authorized the bombing of a hospital in Afghanistan, killing an estimated 22 civilians, including members of “Doctors Without Borders,” which happened to win the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999.
