Steve K.: If true, it would be unconstitutional, violates the 1st amendment for one thing. Not voting is one way of protesting.

Rayn: Indeed! Penalizing those New Yorkers who choose to Vacate The Vote in an effort to Withdraw Consent is not only an assault against free speech, and freedom of choice – it also represents a shameless effort to run an extortion racket, too! These political parasites are nothing more than a legally-protected criminal caste!

() A state lawmaker from Manhattan wants to make it costly for New Yorkers not to vote.

Assemblywoman Deborah Glick, a Democrat, introduced legislation this week that would establish “compulsory voting” in the state and punish those who don’t vote with a $10 fine.

“Mandatory voting would drastically increase civic participation and transform the political arena by making politicians more reflective of the constituents that elected them,” Glick wrote in a memo submitted with the bill.

Lawsuit Charges 13 St. Louis Suburbs With “Extorting” Black Drivers:

(Brenda Breslauer) Quinton Thomas is afraid to drive to work, to visit friends, or to the barber for a haircut. He’s afraid he’ll be pulled over and put in jail — not for some crime he’s committed but because he can’t afford to pay fines from traffic tickets issued long ago. He’s afraid he’ll be jailed because he’s driving while black in St. Louis County, Missouri.

“Traffic stops have cost me a lot of money, have cost my family money, and also have cost me time and jobs,” said Thomas, a 28-year-old construction worker.

The Injustice of Peace-Molesting Town and City “Ordinances”

The following correspondence originally took place upon the Facebook wall of my friend, Jordan K

Jordan K.: Parked my truck + horse trailer in front of my own house for a few minutes to use the bathroom before a trip up north to pick up hay. Had this on my truck immediately. I hate California government and the piece of shit neighbors that called me in. Montana here I come.

E’naaniibwit M.: We’re eventually going to see you on a episode of Edge of Alaska lol

Ryan P.: Wow… and to think that these people who called on you probably live on the land that YOUR family sold them… ungrateful bastards.

Daniel R.: Pieces of shit

Kris K.: Wow, that’s really stupid

Jordan K.: Next time I’m just going to pull the entire rig up on my front lawn.

Rayn: My husband and I were forced out of NJ with our RV because of these same exact sort of peace-molesting “ordinances.” No victim, no crime!

Jordan K.: I just called the contact name and number. Greg was confrontational with me at first. He said I wouldn’t be able to park my trailer on the street at all. Then later in the conversation he admitted he guessed my trailer was about 18′ long. I then asked him why, if it wasn’t over 25′, wouldn’t I be able to park it in the street. He then mentioned the widths and heights, which I assured him it wasn’t over. After that he admitted I would be allowed to park it in the street as long as I followed all the guidelines on this paper. Even if it was over 80″ I could still park the trailer on the street at all times between 4pm and 7:30am 🙂Sometimes telling somebody what they can’t do isn’t any better then having them find out what they CAN do. My neighbors are gonna get a whole lotta trailer love in the coming months.

Jordan K.: I asked him if I could pull it up on my front lawn… nope – can’t put anything on a non paved surface.

Jordan K.: So then I asked him if I could park it in the driveway disconnected next to my truck everything on pavement. I can do that. I can also park between the right hours like I mentioned before. Either way, these neighbors are asshats.

Nellie K.: So sorry that happened to you!

Jordan K.: It’s ok… I’m dealing with it. It’s just a bad feeling when you know one of your neighbors has it in for you.

The American Police State Targets the Most Vulnerable Members of Society for Harassment, Threats, and Extortion

This Homeless USMC Vet Got to Experience the Rising American Police State First Hand:

(Matt Agorist) The hot air and lip service paid to veterans by the blowhards in D.C., seems to be just that, hot air and lip service. Nearly 60,000 men and woman who’ve served their country are homeless and being persecuted by the same system they pledged to maintain.

A video submitted to The Free Thought Project Friday by homeless veteran Aaron Colyer, shows the repugnant reality that is the American Police State.

Colyer, a 4 year veteran of the USMC and Army National Gaurd, tells The Free Thought Project his recount of America’s new war on the right to exist.

My Commentary: Keep dutifully paying your “fair share” of taxes, America. 😉 This way, the State can continue hiring mercenaries in your behalf to harass and ticket the homeless! And, by extorting the destitute for cash they don’t have, these vulnerable members of society will be forced to either go into hiding or to relocate, otherwise they will eventually face jail time for failure to pay the State’s “victimless ‘crime’ extortion fee” (AKA “a fine”)!

Problem solved! 🙂

How very forward-thinking and progressive! Bravo, America!
