Statism: the Most Popular Death Cult in the History of Humanity

() Have you heard of the “great man” theory of history?

The meaning is obvious from the words. The idea is that history moves in epochal shifts under the leadership of visionary, bold, often ruthless men who marshall the energy of masses of people to push events in radical new directions. Nothing is the same after them.

In their absence, nothing happens that is notable enough to qualify as history: no heroes, no god-like figures who qualify as “great.” In this view, we need such men.  If they do not exist, we create them. They give us purpose. They define the meaning of life. They drive history forward.

My Commentary: Statism: the most popular death cult in the history of humanity.

“…Within the state, all that is otherwise considered immoral, illegal, unseemly, and ghastly, can become, as blessed by the law, part of policy, civic virtue, and the forward motion of history. The state baptizes rampant immorality with the holy water of consensus.”

Discussing Thomas Paine, the Liberty-Lover!

The following correspondence originally took place on my Facebook wall, upon my post, “Thomas Paine, the Liberty-Lover!“…

Rayn:

Thomas Paine’s FB Page: “Thomas Paine needs no monument made by hands; he has erected a monument in the hearts of all lovers of liberty.” President Andrew Jackson

This TRUE “Founder” wrote “Common Sense” (the inspiration for the “Declaration of Independence”), is considered the “Father of the American Revolution,” argued for the EQUAL rights of WOMEN, and was a SLAVERY ABOLITIONIST! Check into Paine, and you will NEVER AGAIN allow a single immoral individual to tell you that you can’t SH!T ALL OVER the memory and reputation of the other so-called “Founding Fathers” for their disgusting white supremacism, male chauvinism, and slave ownership! NEVER ACCEPT the cowardly, illogical, disingenuous and collectivist argument that you are looking at the despicable deeds of these revolution-hijackers through a “lofty,” “modern day understanding” of what actually ALWAYS HAS BEEN, and ALWAYS WILL BE RIGHT! Any sheep that would say such a thing only seeks to reduce their own cognitive dissonance at the expense of YOUR SOUL – bidding for your silence, just as those of their ilk ALSO did BACK in the days of Paine, TOO!

Alison K.: Pardon my language…but FUCK YEAH!

George Washington: American Revolutionary, or Slave-Mastering Eugenicist?

The following debate originally took place upon my Facebook wall…

George Washington, the Slave-Master

George Washington, the Slave-Master

Larry Fox: Ah, Rayn, we became friends just in time to celebrate your birthday on the 22nd. Same birthday as my favorite president. How wonderful!

Rayn: Ha ha! No doubt! I take it George Washington must be your favorite president, then?

Larry Fox: Yes, absolutely. I could talk about him for hours. For now I will only make this one comment: He is the only man in history who led a successful revolutionary army who then turned his back on power. Not Cromwell in England, Caesar in Rome, Castro in Cuba, Napoleon in France and on and on. After he signed the peace with England he mounted his horse in New York and with a single aid rode to the temporary meeting place of the Continental Congress in Virginia. He walked in unannounced, placed his commission on the table, his sword, and without a word, turn and left for home in Mt. Vernon. For this alone I idolize him, and there is much more. I could go on but I fear I would put you to sleep. If I forget by Tuesday – Happy Birthday!
