My Commentary: For those who haven’t been paying attention, or rely only on the mainstream media for their “news,” here is what you missed: in March of 2009, the pharmaceutical company, BAXTER INTERNATIONAL, was CAUGHT RED-HANDED attempting to distribute INFLUENZA VACCINES CONTAMINATED with DEADLY LIVE AVIAN FLU VIRUS to 18 different countries around the world! It was soon discovered by INDEPENDENT MEDIA SOURCES that Baxter International HAPPENS to own the rights to “CELVAPAN,” the WORLD’S FIRST cell-culture based H5N1 (avian flu) pandemic vaccine! In other words, Baxter stood to make A GREAT DEAL OF MONEY if a world-wide avian flu pandemic had occurred!

Recently, THIS SAME COMPANY was given the go-ahead to make an H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine. Now, in YET ANOTHER STROKE of “COINCIDENCE,” it turns out that Baxter *ONCE AGAIN* ALREADY OWNS THE PATENT to a vaccine for the H1N1 strain of swine flu!

(Associated Press) – The last time the government embarked on a major vaccine campaign against a new swine flu, thousands filed claims contending they suffered side effects from the shots. This time, the government has already taken steps to head that off.

Vaccine makers and federal officials will be immune from lawsuits that result from any new swine flu vaccine, under a document signed by Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, government health officials said Friday.

Since the 1980s, the government has protected vaccine makers against lawsuits over the use of childhood vaccines. Instead, a federal court handles claims and decides who will be paid from a special fund.

The document signed by Sebelius last month grants immunity to those making a swine flu vaccine, under the provisions of a 2006 law for public health emergencies. It allows for a compensation fund, if needed.

My Commentary: If our government begins offering free vaccinations, and “we, the people,” discover that we are being treated to a repeat incident of the last swine-flu inoculation fiasco in 1976 (wherein 30 times more individuals died from being vaccinated than from the actual pathogen they were allegedly being protected against), don’t panic! The government already has a contingency plan in place: LEGAL IMMUNITY FOR VACCINE MAKERS!!!

Now, why didn’t I think of that? Oh, now I remember… because I’m not a soulless, sociopathic shell of a human-being. I guess the same cannot be said of our political “representatives.” They prefer to lick the boots of their CORPORATE MASTERS at the expense of OUR LIVES!!!

Wow! Big Gov and Big Pharma make the perfect team! NON-ACCOUNTABILITY is their business, and they do it SO well!!!

(Tony Long, Wired.com) – 1976: President Gerald Ford orders a nationwide vaccination program to prevent a swine-flu epidemic. Ford was acting on the advice of medical experts, who believed they were dealing with a virus potentially as deadly as the one that caused the 1918 Spanish influenza pandemic. The virus surfaced in February at Fort Dix, New Jersey, where 19-year-old Pvt. David Lewis told his drill instructor that he felt tired and weak, although not sick enough to skip a training hike. Lewis was dead with 24 hours. […] Mass vaccinations started in October, but within weeks reports started coming in of people developing Guillain-Barré syndrome, a paralyzing nerve disease, right after taking the shot. Within two months, 500 people were affected, and more than 30 died. Amid a rising uproar and growing public reluctance to risk the shot, federal officials abruptly canceled the program Dec. 16. My Commentary: America suffered from a previous outbreak of swine-flu in 1976. Interestingly, this particular outbreak began at an Army base in Fort Dix, New Jersey. The background is as follows: after a recruit died mysteriously, an autopsy was performed, & it was determined that swine-flu had caused his death. Testing began & army doctors soon realized that at least 500 soldiers were also infected, though none were ill. Under pressure from health officials, who saw a possible pandemic on their hands, then-President Gerald Ford spent $125 million funding a mass inoculation program – aimed at protecting the American public. However, within weeks, some who took the shot began to develop “Guillain-Barré syndrome, a paralyzing nerve disease. Within two months, 500 individuals were affected, and more than 30 died.” The public responded angrily, and the program was stopped.

The moral of the story: while swine-flu claimed only one victim, the vaccine claimed over 30 lives, & crippled nearly 500 individuals!!

My Commentary: It has only been a little over a month since the pharmaceutical company, Baxter International, was caught red-handed attempting to distribute Influenza vaccines contaminated with deadly live Avian Flu Virus to 18 different countries around the world. It was soon discovered by INDEPENDENT MEDIA SOURCES that Baxter International just so happens to own the rights to “Celvapan,” the world’s first cell-culture based H5N1 (avian flu) pandemic vaccine! So, why on Earth would Baxter be chosen to head efforts for the creation of a Swine Flu Vaccine? And, why, in our right minds, would we allow this despicable company obtain a sample of the swine flu virus? This is a chilling exercise in what BIG PHARMA “medicine” is really all about: MANUFACTURING DISEASE, then PROFITING from a MONOPOLISTIC, PATENTED “CURE.” When is enough enough? (Carrie Johnson, Julie Tate – Washington Post) Justice Department documents released yesterday offer the fullest account to date of Bush administration interrogation tactics, including previously unacknowledged strategies of slamming a prisoner into a wall and placing an insect near a detainee terrified of bugs.

Authorities said they will not prosecute CIA officers who used harsh interrogation techniques with the department’s legal blessing. But in a carefully worded statement, they left open the possibility that operatives and higher-level administration officials could face jeopardy if they ventured beyond the boundaries drawn by the Bush lawyers.

My Commentary: I am absolutely DISGUSTED by Obama’s proclamation that “YES, WE CAN” protect TORTURERS from criminal PROSECUTION! Regardless of his apologist claims, to put war criminals on trial for the horrors they have engaged in has NOTHING to do with “RETRIBUTION” and EVERYTHING to do with JUSTICE!!! “Nothing will be gained by spending our time and energy laying blame for the past,” Obama claims? How about the fact that it would help put an end to the egregious human rights abuses that are STILL CURRENTLY BEING COMMITTED by the American government as a matter POLICY in the name of the “War on Terrorism,” with full “legal” authorization!?
