Doublethinking About a Democratically-Elected Government

As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following quote, being shared by an acquaintance, and originally posted it to my own wall, along with commentary…

“I don’t trust the average person to make his own choices. I therefore want everyone subjugating his own judgment to that of an external law-making authority. But that authority can’t just be arbitrary and unlimited, so I want the common people–who themselves can’t be trusted–to choose other people to be the authority. That way all the people who would behave like violent, wild animals can select the best and brightest among them to force the rest to behave in a proper manner. Because while I don’t trust the average person to run his own life, I do trust him to choose someone to run everyone else’s life. Because I am a statist. And I haven’t gotten around to questioning all the patently insane bullshit I was taught when growing up.”

My Commentary: Doublethink much?

Mainstream Media Monopoly Continues to Publish Most Widely-Read Fake News Available

I originally posted the following information and commentary onto my Facebook wall…

Why Has Trust in Media Collapsed? Look at Actions of WSJ, Yahoo, Business Insider and Slate.:

(Last week, we published documents that definitively debunked and disproved a claim that numerous media outlets had circulated and affirmed for years: that Edward Snowden lied about where he was during his first 11 days in Hong Kong. Contrary to the fable these outlets dispensed to their readers — that Snowden did not check in to the Mira Hotel on May 21 as he claimed but only did so on June 1, 11 days later — these new documents, obtained from the Mira, prove that Snowden arrived there exactly when he always said, rendering their published stories factually false. Many of these stories had even claimed that anonymous U.S. investigators were unable to find hotel or credit card records for Snowden during these 11 days — exactly the records we just published.

The same day our story was published, the New York Times reporter Charlie Savage — who had previously spent weeks documenting that this claim about Snowden never had any journalistic basis to begin with — confirmed the authenticity of the new documents…

My Commentary: The mainstream media monopoly continues to publish the most widely-read fake news available, while simultaneously claiming the ability to determine what’s “real.”

Discussing Alarming Trend of Police Raping Women While On Duty

But, without government, who would tax-fund rapists, while providing them with the “color of law” needed to “legally” detain and isolate their victims, even in daylight hours, without arousing even the slightest suspicion about their intentions and activities?

Alison K.: The church?

Rayn: LOL! Exactly! Statism is just another bad religion! 😉

(Joseph Mayton, Daily Beast) On Thursday, a Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy pleaded no contest to rape and sexual assault of two women. Jose Rigaberto Sanchez, 29, faces a sentence of eight years and eight months in prison and must register as a sex offender, according the district attorney’s office.

Both crimes occurred in September 2010. The first incident included the forcible sodomizing of a 24-year-old woman in Palmdale after Sanchez offered her sex in exchange for not arresting her. He took her to a desert where the crime occurred.

Two nights later, Sanchez pulled over a 36-year-old woman on drunk driving suspicion and attempted to bribe her with sexual favors, according to the Los Angeles Country district attorney’s office.

This is only one of several recent cases of sexual violence where a police officer has been accused or convicted of abusing his power and authority to abuse women while on the job. In January 2012, a Milwaukee jury convicted a policeman of violating the civil rights of a woman by raping her. In November 2013, a Texas police officer was accused of raping a 19-year-old woman. And earlier this month a sheriff’s deputy in Oklahoma was arrested on suspected rape charges at a nursing home.
