Blue Privilege, on Full Display

As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following statement here, being shared by the page, “Corrupt Frisco Texas Cops,” and originally posted it to my own wall, along with commentary…

Corrupt Frisco Texas Cops: A drunk Dallas cop goes home after work, tries unlocking door to what she believes is her apartment, a young unarmed black man opens the door. She shoots the young man. She never renders aid, and he dies. Turns out she was on the wrong floor and apartment. She is put on paid leave/vacation and not arrested.

In Houston, a cop checks his loaded rifle on a Southwest flight, he goes to baggage claim. For some unknown (idiotic) reason he decides to take it out of the case in baggage claim and discharges it. He’s now on paid leave/vacation and not arrested.

You try this idiotic behavior and see if you get a paid vacation out of it.

Debating Israel’s Latest Bombing of Gazan Civilians

The following debate originally took place on my Facebook wall, after I shared a post from here

Rayn

Diana D.: Over a hundred rockets fired from Gaza at Israel yesterday, the day of the sabbath….

Rayn: Hmmm… You seem to agree that bombing civilians is wrong… But, it’s also important to recognize the fact that the right to life is actually natural-borne, and not a mere privilege of citizenship…

Diana D.: Those civilians been hijacked by terrorists. #freegazafromhamas

Paul K.: Dual Citizenship I bet, Today is my Sabbath are you throwing BOMB`s today

Rayn: The only thing that Israeli bombs free Gazan civilians from is corporeality… Terrorism is terrorism… Being targeted by it in any way should provide adequate knowledge of its utter illegitimacy, and total immorality. It is always a criminal act, no matter the motivation, and no matter the author. (Click Here to Continue Reading This Post)

(Andrea Germanos) Noted consumer advocate and author Ralph Nader on Friday offered a sharp retort to Laura Bush and Michelle Obama in response to the former first ladies levied criticism at the Trump administration’s cruel immigration policy that separated immigrant children from their families.

“Would be nice if Laura Bush and Michelle Obama had expressed similar heartfelt concern for the tens of thousands of children killed or seriously maimed by the wars of their husbands in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere,” he tweeted.

My Commentary: Because virtue signaling isn’t about moral consistency, or justice… It’s about public displays of manufactured outrage.
