The Main Logical Fallacy Behind Socialism

The following correspondence originally took place here, upon the Facebook page, “Young Americans for Liberty

Young Americans for Liberty:

“Every time we object to a thing being done by government, the socialists conclude that we object to its being done at all.” – Frederic Bastiat

RaynA non-sequitur logical fallacy, to be sure.

Away With the Whims of Governmental Administrators!

As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following artwork here, being shared by the page, “Living in Modern Times,” and originally posted it to my own wall, along with commentary…

“Away with the whims of governmental administrators, their socialized projects, their centralization, their tariffs, their government schools, their state religions, their free credit, their bank monopolies, their regulations, their restrictions, their equalization by taxation, and their pious moralizations. And now that the legislators and do-gooders have so futilely inflicted so many systems upon society, may they finally end where they should have begun: May they reject all systems, and try liberty” – Frederic Bastiat

My Commentary: Selah!
