As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following captioned photo here, being shared by the page, “NORML Women’s Alliance,” and originally posted it to my own wall, along with commentary…

“Democrats picked Congressman Joe Kennedy III (D-MA) to respond to President Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday. He was one of only ten Democrats to vote against a 2015 amendment protecting medical cannabis patients and providers from federal prosecution. My Commentary: LOL! DemoCrackPots and RepubliConArtists are two wings of the same bird… Both use the violent apparatus of the State to initiate aggression against the peaceful. Both are full of smug, self-important control-freaks that support a continuation of the inherently-racist, freedom-crushing, prison-filling fraud, known as the “War on Drugs.”

(Thomas Phippen) Former Florida Democratic Rep. Corrine Brown reported to federal prison Monday to start her five year sentence for multiple crimes, including tax fraud and corruption.

Brown, 71, turned herself in to the Sumter Correctional Institution in Florida, one of the largest federal prisons in the country, which houses both violent and non-violent offenders. Brown will be serving her five-year sentence at a minimum-security satellite facility, which keeps roughly 391 other female inmates.

If you were against the New Deal and its wholesale buying of pauper votes, then you were against Christian charity.  If you were against the gross injustices and dishonesties of the Wagner Labor Act, then you were against labor.  If you were against packing the Supreme Court, then you were in favor of letting Wall Street do it.  If you are against using Dr. Quack’s cancer salve, then you are in favor of letting Uncle Julius die.  If you are against Holy Church, or Christian Science, then you are against god.  It is an old, old argument.
