Police Serve the State, Not the Tax-Payers

Peace Officer Versus Police Officer

Peace Officer Versus Police Officer

Why Fearing the Police Is Not Irrational:
http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig10/cohoon1.html

(Brian CohoonLewRockwell.com) – There was a day in America when we, the people, had great respect for the police. When they would ask you how you are doing, they sincerely wanted to know because they cared. That day has passed with barely a whisper or complaint. Today when a cop (they prefer to be called Police Officers, as they feel “cop” is somewhat derogatory) asks you how you are, they are not doing it because they care but rather to set you at ease so you feel that their follow-up questions are friendly and benign. Since for most of us, our likely contact with the police is during a traffic stop (this is actually an arrest. If you do not believe this, try and leave the scene of the top, or not stop in the first place), and the follow-up questions inevitably will be:

  1. Where are you coming from (sic)?
  2. Where are you going?
  3. What are you doing?
  4. Do you have anything illegal in your possession?

My Commentary: It is the job of cops to intimidate you into incriminating yourself. So long as they can pretend a crime was committed, they are ensuring their own future job security. It is a glaring conflict of interest! And, they love to nab people for victim-free “offenses.” This type of busy-work keeps them from having to deal with real criminals, and situations that could potentially put their lives in real danger. Remember, the Prison Industrial Complex is mostly privatized now. Convicts in private prisons can be put to work for 25 cents an hour or less. So, it makes sense to fill jails with productive, functional citizens, rather than dysfunctional, violent offenders. They make much better SLAVE LABORERS! Research it! The same companies who own prisons lobbied for (and won) mandatory drug sentencing, and the “three-strikes” rule. No one should be accountable for failing to follow man-made laws! They are so unfair that they aren’t even clearly posted, and require no victim in order to be broken! The whole thing is a RACKET!

In Phoenix, First Amendment Doesn’t Apply to Individuals Critical of Police State

Phoenix Police Raid Home of Blogger Whose Writing is Highly Critical of Them:
http://photographyisnotacrime.com/2009/04/01/phoenix-police-raid-home-of-blogger-whose-writing-is-highly-critical-of-them/

(Carlos Miller) – In what should send a frightening chill down the spine of every blogger, writer, journalist and First Amendment advocate in the United States, Phoenix police raided the home of a blogger who has been highly critical of the department.

Jeff Pataky, who runs Bad Phoenix Cops, said the officers confiscated three computers, routers, modems, hard drives, memory cards and everything necessary to continue blogging.

The 41-year-old software engineer said they also confiscated numerous personal files and documents relating to a pending lawsuit he has against the department alleging harassment – which he says makes it obvious the raid was an act of retaliation.

My Commentary: Would it surprise you to know that, apparently, the First Amendment is reserved ONLY for those citizens that choose NOT to criticize the American Police State? If your answer is “yes,” then you obviously haven’t been paying attention!

Discussing the Desire to Rise Against the Tyranny of the American Police State

Rayn: I am sickened by the AMERICAN POLICE STATE. When will we RISE AGAINST the TYRANNY of EVIL, LYING, ABUSIVE, POWER-HUNGRY, JUSTICE-PERVERTING COPS? These COWARDLY, MURDEROUS, HIRED THUGS bring SHAME to what should be an HONORABLE PROFESSION! They are TOO WEAK-WILLED and MORALLY-COMPROMISED to “SERVE & PROTECT” the PEOPLE. The “PEACE OFFICER” has morphed into the “LAW ENFORCEMENT” CHARLATAN, who believes he is a JUDGE!

We must expose these cowardly frauds to full public scrutiny, or they will continue to commit human rights violations under the guise of “fighting crime.”

Keith: Make a Website about them! And give all the pig’s Rabies!!!!

Rayn: Euthanization would be much more effective long term solution, but I digress. I’m way ahead of you on the website concept. I’m already in the process of compiling data and evidence. There is NO VALOR or HONOR in these COWARDS, THIEVES and FREEDOM-HATERS. Their MAN-MADE RULES and REGULATIONS have BETRAYED us!

Sara: Welcome back to Essex County, where a PIG can be a PIG.

Rayn: Yes. These filthy swine pollute the streets of America with the corruption of their lies, prejudice, brutality, and injustice.

Keith M.: Still Sickened By This!

Discussing the HIV/AIDS Epidemic in Washington, DC

The following correspondence originally took place upon the Facebook note of my friend Cecily M, entitled, “Guest Writer: HIV/AIDS”…

Cecily M.: Hey folk. I’d like to believe that I know a bunch of articulate, intellectual, informed, individuals. Yesterday, my cousin/homie posted a note about HIV/AIDS. She wanted some dialogue about the topic. Unfortunately, the people didn’t really respond. Those that did created quite an interesting dialogue. But for this thing to be such an epidemic, it was interesting to see the lack of interest. To me, it almost explains the epidemic. Could it be our indifference?

Today, I’ve copied and pasted her note here. I want you to read and I want you to comment. Cuz I know that you are at work right now, doing nothing. That’s why 12 of my friends are already on facebook with green dots. The rest of you are here too, probably in invisible mode. Read and respond folk. Let’s get it!

Coleen writes:

GM all! I have something on my mind. I was talking to my doctor last week Thursday and we were in the room chatting about African American people having the highest HIV/AIDS percentage in the nation. Please read the facts below.

She then told me a story, “I recently went to a medical conference and an African man was speaking to other doctors and he stated “Why are American women so desperate?” At first I was offended, but I thought to myself, he’s right”

My question to my facebook reader’s men and women: Is American women desperate? And are we really the cause of spreading STD’s and HIV/AIDS so rapidly?

Let’s talk about it!!!

Fact: At least 3 percent of District residents have HIV or AIDS, a total that far surpasses the 1 percent threshold that constitutes a “generalized and severe” epidemic, according to a report scheduled to be released by health officials tomorrow.

That translates into 2,984 residents per every 100,000 over the age of 12 — or 15,120 — according to the 2008 epidemiology report by the District’s HIV/AIDS office.

“Our rates are higher than West Africa,” said Shannon L. Hader, director of the District’s HIV/AIDS Administration, who once led the Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s work in Zimbabwe. “They’re on par with Uganda and some parts of Kenya.” (Click Here to Continue Reading This Post)
