BBC News Uses “Iraq Photo to Illustrate Syrian Massacre”:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/syria/9293620/BBC-News-uses-Iraq-photo-to-illustrate-Syrian-massacre.html
(The Telegraph, Hannah Furness) Photographer Marco di Lauro said he nearly “fell off his chair” when he saw the image being used, and said he was “astonished” at the failure of the corporation to check their sources.
The picture, which was actually taken on March 27, 2003, shows a young Iraqi child jumping over dozens of white body bags containing skeletons found in a desert south of Baghdad.
It was posted on the BBC news website today under the heading “Syria massacre in Houla condemned as outrage grows”.
My Commentary: British Propaganda Fail…
This story reminds me of the Kuwaiti Incubator Baby HOAX back in 1991, which was used as the pretext for America’s FIRST Gulf War:

It also reminds me of the Bush Administration’s more recent WMD HOAX was the pretext for war…
The “Occupy Rectum” movement is definitely a most enduring one! It’s hard to believe that it is STILL going strong, after all these centuries! It’s all good, though. I’ll just continue to maintain my position: standing upright, facing the horizon, secure in the knowledge that the ASS is no place for the HEAD to be!

Department of Homeland Security
Revealed: Hundreds of Words to Avoid Using Online if You Don’t Want the Government Spying on You:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2150281/REVEALED-Hundreds-words-avoid-using-online-dont-want-government-spying-you.html
(Daniel Miller) The Department of Homeland Security has been forced to release a list of keywords and phrases it uses to monitor social networking sites and online media for signs of terrorist or other threats against the U.S.
The intriguing the list includes obvious choices such as ‘attack’, ‘Al Qaeda’, ‘terrorism’ and ‘dirty bomb’ alongside dozens of seemingly innocent words like ‘pork’, ‘cloud’, ‘team’ and ‘Mexico’.
Released under a freedom of information request, the information sheds new light on how government analysts are instructed to patrol the internet searching for domestic and external threats.
My Commentary: Department chiefs “insisted the practice was aimed not at policing the internet for disparaging remarks about the government and signs of general dissent, but to provide awareness of any potential threats.” Nothing to see, here, folks. Move along…

Eight members of an Afghan family, including six children and two women, were killed in a NATO airstrike in eastern Afghanistan, local authorities said on Sunday, although the NATO-led coalition said there was no evidence of any civilian casualties.
The strike took place in the Gerda Serai district of Paktia late on Saturday, the provincial governor’s spokesman, Rohullah Samon, said as foreign and Afghan security forces try to quell Taliban and Haqqani network insurgents active in the area.
“The strike by ISAF killed four teenage boys, two teenage girls, and two women, and wounded two others,” Samon said.
My Commentary: “Killed’? No.
MURDERED? Yes.

Briton Arrested in Thailand After Being Found with Six Roasted Human Foetuses:
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/briton-arrested-in-thailand-after-being-found-with-six-roasted-human-foetuses-7766232.html
(Independent, Rob Williams) A British citizen in Bangkok has been arrested after Thai police found six roasted human foetuses packed in his luggage.
Chow Hok Kuen, who is 28 and of Taiwanese origin, was held by police after the grisly discovery was made in Bangkok’s Chinatown district yesterday.
Reports says the six foetuses had been covered in gold leaf after being roasted as part of a black magic ritual.
It is not clear where the bodies came from, but Chow Hok Kuen is believed to have been attempting to smuggle them into Taiwan.
My Commentary: Chinese-born British citizen, Chow Hok Kuen, was caught smuggling the charred remains of six human children into Thailand. The Bangkok police who apprehended the suspect believe the victims to be between the ages of two and seven months. Kuen claimed that he bought the remains online, and planned to profit greatly by selling them before being discovered.
