(Max Fisher) When President Obama announced US airstrikes in Iraq, most observers understood that the US would be bombing members of ISIS. What many did not know was that, in a twist of such bitterly symbolic irony that it could only occur in the Middle East, the US would also be bombing hundreds of millions of dollars worth of American military equipment.

Here’s why: in the decade since the 2003 US-led Iraq invasion, the US has spent a fortune training and arming the Iraqi army in the hopes of readying it to secure the country once America left. That meant arming the Iraqi army with high-tech and extremely expensive American-made guns, tanks, jeeps, artillery, and more.

Rayn: Algeria is in Africa, not Jamaica. And, many Algerians paid for tickets to see Sean Paul perform his music live, having not even the slightest concern for his family heritage. That is why the event’s promoter has so-far refused to cave in to the racist demands of what is apparently a fringe group, who don’t at all represent the majority of Algerians…

Johnson) A former Wisconsin police officer killed a 19-year-old college student from Oregon during a choking game that went too far, hid her body in a suitcase she brought to their sex date and then kept her body in his refrigerator for months, according to a criminal complaint filed Tuesday.

Steven Zelich, 52, of West Allis, was charged with first-degree intentional homicide — the Wisconsin equivalent of murder — in the 2012 death of Jenny Gamez from Cottage Grove, Oregon. Zelich also is a suspect in the death of a Farmington, Minnesota, woman.

My Commentary: But, without government, who would torture and serial murder young women, stuff their bodies into suitcases, then dump them onto the side of the road?

From the article, “A former Wisconsin police officer killed a 19-year-old college student from Oregon during a choking game that went too far, hid her body in a suitcase she brought to their sex date and then kept her body in his refrigerator for months, according to a criminal complaint filed Tuesday.”

Also, there’s this… “Kenosha County District Attorney Robert Zapf said he chose to charge Zelich with the most severe crime possible because he didn’t believe the deaths were accidents.

‘Killing two women over the span of 15 months under the circumstances in which the defendant acknowledged, by gagging them with a ball gag in the mouth, ropes around the neck, hands tied behind their back, blindfold over their face. He may call that accidental. I call it murder,’ Zapf said.”

Rayn: The above inscription looks to be written mostly in Middle Semitic “Moabite” script, which is a very slight variation of Middle Semitic “Paleo-Hebrew” that holds many of the same exact characters. The reason I believe it to be this particular Semitic script is because it’s the only one I know of that writes out the letter “waw” (“ו” in modern Hebrew) like a “Y,” and the letter “kaph” (“כ” and “ך” in modern Hebrew) like a “Y” with an extra branch emerging from the center (imagine a “☮ ,” minus the circle, and turned 180°). However, the letter “hhet” (now called “chet” and written as “ח” in modern Hebrew) and the letter “sin,” (now called “samekh” and written as “ס” in modern Hebrew) are both written in Paleo-Hebrew, instead of Moabite. A T-shaped bridge at the junction of the Honkawa and Motoyasu rivers near downtown Hiroshima was the target. At 8:15 a.m., Little Boy exploded, instantly killing 80,000 to 140,000 people and seriously injuring 100,000 more. The bomb exploded some 1,900 feet above the center of the city, over Shima Surgical Hospital, some 70 yards southeast of the Industrial Promotional Hall (now known as the Atomic Bomb Dome). Crewmembers of the Enola Gay saw a column of smoke rising fast and intense fires springing up. The burst temperature was estimated to reach over a million degrees Celsius, which ignited the surrounding air, forming a fireball some 840 feet in diameter. Eyewitnesses more than 5 miles away said its brightness exceeded the sun tenfold.
