Rayn: I watched it live, early this morning. It was completely uneventful, with no new information divulged. It appeared to be more of a 10-year anniversary celebration of Wikileaks, with a plug for a book, as well. Strangely, Assange scoffed at the notion that he would release anything pertinent at such an hour, and he also disavowed the idea that he would be going after Killary with any new info. However, he did indicat that some important information would be released near end of the year. It was a relative waste of time, and many even accused him of “trolling” the alternative news networks, both during and after his live stream, Others claimed he officially sold out, and still others speculated that he was threatened into a bizarre form of silence. It’s a shame that it all went down like that.

(, ) President Obama warns in a new interview of a future in which a U.S. president could engage in perpetual covert wars “all over the world.” But he claims that the accountability and transparency measures he is instituting will make that less likely.

In the interview, with New York magazine’s Jonathan Chait, Obama expressed agreement with one of the most salient critiques of his drone war, that it risks creating “institutional comfort and inertia with what looks like a pretty antiseptic way of disposing of enemies.”

Obama explained that he had looked at “the way in which the number of drone strikes was going up and the routineness with which, early in my presidency, you were seeing both DOD and CIA and our intelligence teams think about this.”

Murilo M.: Well, I know that to the uninformed it may seem creepy the idea that lots of people, including children, take medication, but if you take your time to study neurology and psychiatry you will understand the reasons behind it. There are good reasons why lots of people are medicated. The only problem is that unfortunately some people are misdiagnosed and end up taking the wrong medication.

Murilo M.: Mental problems are more common than people think, and medication can be of great help. I say that because I know how much the substance Mirtazapine has helped me, it has made magic. And also because I know people with ADHD and I know how much Ritalin has helped them.

Rayn: The artwork says “overmedicated,” and you appear to have formulated your very own personal definition of what that means to you. You’re arguing against a straw-man you created, and simultaneously calling your imagined opponent “uninformed.” Quite amusing, actually.

Murilo M.: My entire point was to criticize people who believe ADHD is a myth and medicating children with Ritalin is wrong. The same applies to people who think depression is just sadness and anti-depressants are dangerous.

(Matt Agorist) The warmongers in the US government have just had their fears realized as Iraq plans to use the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA), aka Sue the Saudis Bill, to demand compensation for the US invasion of Iraq.

Last month, the U.S. House of Representatives, following the lead of the Senate, passed a bill allowing Americans to sue Saudi Arabia over 9/11. When the bill made it to the President’s desk, however, Obama quickly showed his loyalty to Saudi Arabia and vetoed it. However, that was only the beginning of the rollercoaster.

Days after his despicable veto, the Senate stepped up and overwhelmingly voted to override it.

The reason the for the veto was obvious as this bill would, in theory, open up a venue and allow lawsuits against the U.S. for alleged sponsorship of terrorist activities in their own countries – a Pandora’s Box that President Obama, and the CIA most certainly do not want to open with the world watching. However, it appears, for now, that Pandora’s Box is open.

My Commentary: It’s about time… Too bad most Americans didn’t disavow the criminal government alleging to represent them, and hence, deserve a major share in the blame, now. Enjoy paying twice, tax-slaves: once for the wars of aggression and crimes against humanity your government committed, and a second time, when you are held accountable for them. Complacency is complicity. Always has been, and always will be. Perhaps, you’ll pay a third time, when some other country decides to invade the US for sponsoring terrorism. And, maybe, you’ll even pay a fourth time, on Judgment Day… Who knows what the future holds?

As the political campaigns of both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump continue in the United States, the battle for presidency has begun to resemble reality television more than genuine politics.

Statements are made, stances taken, and arguments ignited that all seem far too scripted and controversial to have occurred organically. Whether or not this is the case, we as a collective have fully bought into it, as this first presidential debate broke viewership records, with 84 million tuning in to the “interesting” spar, according to Nielsen.

While both presidential hopefuls have already endured significant scrutiny, it appears as though Hillary Clinton may be in line for the next devastating blow, though she has already been victimized by the stealthy work of Julian Assange on several occasions:
