(Claire Bernish) As promised, Wikileaks delivered on documents concerning Hillary Clinton it had claimed for months to be harboring safely for the right moment to release — and the contents do not disappoint.

After only a cursory search using Wikileaks invaluable database, “The Podesta Emails” reveal not only direct evidence of media coordination, but an attempt to alleviate the damage expected to be wrought by the impending 2015 release of a book by Peter Schweizer titled: “Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich.”

In an email dated April 19, 2015, Clinton Foundation senior vice president of programs Maura Pally writes to White House communications director Jennifer Palmieri, under the subject heading, “FOR REVIEW: Statement for NYT story on Clinton Cash”:

“Agree. I like it, especially the ‘twisting previously known facts into absurd conspiracy theories’. I suspect we might be able to get repeat use of out of that one.”

Losing an argument, or the support of your audience? No problem! Just toss out the phrase, “conspiracy theory,” and in a single, thought-terminating cliché… *voila* …You’re back on top!

In a damning commentary on the rush to invade Iraq, Sir John Chilcot’s inquiry found “diplomatic options had not” at the time “been exhausted. Military action was therefore not a last resort” — as then Prime Minister Tony Blair led the people of the U.K. to believe.

While the Chilcot Report proffers scathing insight into the circumstances surrounding the U.K.’s part in one of the most contentious invasions of a sovereign state in modern times, findings dually skewer then U.S. President George W. Bush’s reckless rush to force military action.

“Military action might have been necessary later,” the BBC summarized several key points found by the Inquiry, “but in March 2003: There was no imminent threat from Saddam Hussein; The strategy of containment could have been adapted and continued for some time; The majority of the Security Council supported continuing UN inspections and monitoring.

‘I’m Far Removed’ from Middle Class – WikiLeaks Publishes Clinton’s Paid Speeches to Goldman Sachs:

The struggles of the middle class are something Hillary Clinton once admitted in a paid speech she is “far removed” from, thanks to the “fortunes” she and her husband “enjoy,” a WikiLeaks-posted email shows. She also admitted she “did all she could” for Wall Street to prosper.

These are just two excerpts from the numerous paid speeches Clinton gave to Wall Street giants behind closed doors between 2013 and 2015.

“I’m kind of far removed because the life I’ve lived and the economic, you know, fortunes that my husband and I now enjoy,”Clinton told members of Goldman-Black Rock in February 2014. “I am not taking a position on any policy, but I do think there is a growing sense of anxiety and even anger in the country over the feeling that the game is rigged.”

Her remarks would never have seen the light of day, but an email found among over 2,000 “Podesta emails” has now shone a spotlight on what Clinton was telling Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and others in between her job as Secretary of State and the current presidential campaign.

More than 140 people have been killed and over 500 injured in air strikes on a funeral gathering in Yemen’s capital Sanaa, a senior UN official says.

Jamie McGoldrick, the UN humanitarian co-ordinator for Yemen, condemned “the horrific attack”.

The rebel Houthi-run government said a Saudi-led coalition was responsible – a claim Saudi Arabia denied.

The US said it had launched an “immediate review” of its already reduced support for the coalition.

“US security co-operation with Saudi Arabia is not a blank check,” White House National Security Council spokesman Ned Price said.
