My Commentary: Above is the link to Google’s petition to Congress to kill the SOPA bill. It’s a good effort, though, personally, I believe that the most effective way to stop internet piracy is to only punish those who seek to profit from it. To legislate against the free-share community is to criminalize human culture, itself! Already, I have to “hack” my way around all kinds of worthless copyright “protections” just to make a completely LEGAL back-up copies of my own movies and music! This is all just more pathetic pre-crime against the populace by our self-important BEAST bureaucracy of a government!
