(Trymaine Lee) In the summer of 1865, a former slave by the name of Jourdan Anderson sent a letter to his former master. And 147 years later, the document reads as richly as it must have back then.

The roughly 800-word letter, which has resurfaced via various blogs, websites, Twitter and Facebook, is a response to a missive from Colonel P.H. Anderson, Jourdan’s former master back in Big Spring, Tennessee. Apparently, Col. Anderson had written Jourdan asking him to come on back to the big house to work.

My Commentary: This is an awesome use of satire, and because of its tone, I have no doubt that Jourdan’s former monster of a “master” read the letter through-and-through: a pretty good measure of its success! 🙂

As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following graphic, being shared by my friend, Brian L., and promptly shared it to my own wall…

There is only ONE RACE of Homo Sapiens: THE HUMAN RACE! ! Who else is sick to death of this pathologically pathetic, pseudo-scientific “race” nonsense? Why is this JUNK SCIENCE STILL being shoved down our collective throats? And, without so much as a peep from the public, or the media, too? Talk about SUSPECT! As Individuals, it’s time for us to start UNLEARNING LIES, and EMBRACING TRUTH!  The idea behind “race” is, by far, one of the most “racist” things you could honestly imagine, invented by pure white supremacists! I wish we could all understand just how tied into eugenics the concept of “race” is, so that we can collectively expose and discard this despicable word and concept! It has everything to do with the promotion of “racial hygiene,” and NOTHING to do with REALITY!!!!
