Sara: Yeah, but sadly, with the police state and the NYPD’s actions lately, it’s very easy to believe.

Samantha P.: lol i completely flipped when i read this story until sara stepped in and saved my nerves!

Rayn: It’s actually satire, meaning that it wasn’t really meant to fool readers, so much as to make them think about the issue being addressed…

Daniel F.: Unfortunately a story like this one is all too believable these days. I’ve already lost count of how many totally outrageous headlines I’ve come across that I realized were satire only because they were from freewoodpost or some other satire site like it. (Not even the Onion – somehow they manage to keep coming up with stories and headlines that most people wouldn’t mistake for being actually real).

Wendy P.: OMG, I also felt my nerves tremble till I read entirely. Cops should be trained to know the law inside and out and know when citizens actually break a law. Citizens should also be made very aware of the law.

Rayn: Algeria is in Africa, not Jamaica. And, many Algerians paid for tickets to see Sean Paul perform his music live, having not even the slightest concern for his family heritage. That is why the event’s promoter has so-far refused to cave in to the racist demands of what is apparently a fringe group, who don’t at all represent the majority of Algerians…

Rayn: The above inscription looks to be written mostly in Middle Semitic “Moabite” script, which is a very slight variation of Middle Semitic “Paleo-Hebrew” that holds many of the same exact characters. The reason I believe it to be this particular Semitic script is because it’s the only one I know of that writes out the letter “waw” (“ו” in modern Hebrew) like a “Y,” and the letter “kaph” (“כ” and “ך” in modern Hebrew) like a “Y” with an extra branch emerging from the center (imagine a “☮ ,” minus the circle, and turned 180°). However, the letter “hhet” (now called “chet” and written as “ח” in modern Hebrew) and the letter “sin,” (now called “samekh” and written as “ס” in modern Hebrew) are both written in Paleo-Hebrew, instead of Moabite. Meanwhile the “lam” (now called “lamed” and written as “ל” in modern Hebrew) often jumps between Moabite and Early Semitic “Ancient Hebrew”… (Click Here to Continue Reading This Post) →
