(Ava Pittman & Anthony DiLorenzo) The actions of an NYPD officer are  raising concerns after cellphone video surfaced showing an aggressive encounter between the officer and a taxi driver who suffered a medical episode and crashed into several cars  in Brooklyn.

On Tuesday around 7:30 p.m., a taxi operator crashed a Mercedes SUV  into several cars near East Second Street and Ditmas Avenue, police said.

My Commentary: This is for the “if the suspect had just followed orders, police wouldn’t have abused/beaten/killed him/her” crowd. The legitimate role of the police obviously eludes you, as the goal is NEVER escalation…

ISIS have also become increasingly active in the country and approximately 14,000 U.S. troops are still serving there in an attempt to contain a growing wave of extremism. Even though the conflict has been making fewer headlines in recent years, the U.S. has never dropped as many bombs on Afghanistan as it did this year. According to U.S. Air Forces Central Command data, manned and unmanned aircraft released 5,213 weapons between January and the end of September 2018.

My Commentary: Time for a history lesson about eugenics…

Many are aware of the fact that the Eugenics laws of the United States, which began to spring up in the 1900s, legalized the State-sponsored sterilization of the mentally and genetically “inferior” for almost a hundred years – specifically targeting the disabled, and minority groups.

Few realize, however, that US Eugenics laws weren’t just implemented overnight, but were merely a “scientifically justified” repackaging of US anti-disablity and anti-minority-based “ugly laws”…

(Jeff Stein) A Chinese-owned pork producer will sell at least $240,000 worth of ham products to the federal government as part of the Trump administration’s farm bailout program, the administration said Wednesday.

U.S. pork producer Smithfield, which is owned by the Chinese conglomerate WH Group, will sell 144,000 pounds of ham products to the federal government under the contract.
