My Commentary: According to psychotherapist, Glynis Sherwood: “Narcissistic homosociality refers to a dynamic where individuals, often heterosexual-identifying narcissistic men, invest intense emotional energy, admiration, and bonding into other men while objectifying or devaluing women. This behavior uses “boys’ club” environments—such as competitive sports, fraternities, or male-dominated workplaces—to secure narcissistic supply (admiration and validation) from other men, which is seen as a more prestigious or ‘safe’ source than intimate relationships with women. “
