(Eliza Fawcett) A South Florida congregation said that under Jewish law, abortion “is required if necessary to protect the health, mental or physical well-being” of a pregnant woman.
Religion, particularly the influence of Christian conservatives, has been at the heart of the anti-abortion movement and the push to overturn Roe v. Wade, the 1973 ruling legalizing abortion throughout the United States.
But a lawsuit filed last week by a South Florida synagogue challenges new legislation in the state banning most abortions after 15 weeks, saying it violates the State Constitution’s right to privacy and freedom of religion. In Jewish law, the suit argues, “abortion is required if necessary to protect the health, mental or physical well-being of the woman.”

Imagine declaring the “right,” as a genocidal murderer, to prevent members of your target group from celebrating their humanity, in public. It’s outright criminal.

My Commentary: Takei’s 1% blue privilege is on full display, in all of its apathetic and entitled shame. As a former victim of extreme State abuse (i.e. disarming, disenfranchisement and internment by Democrat, FDR), his post, above completely exposes his status as a sold-out traitor to the human race. Takei has experienced the dangers of trusting government, firsthand, and yet, here he is, promoting the exact conditions required for large groups of his countrymen to find themselves suddenly forced into internment camps, without just cause or even a trial, much like his innocent family was once subject to.
