The False Dichotomy Continues to Win!

As I scrolled through my Facebook memories, I discovered the following artwork, which I originally shared to my wall in October of 2012, in my post, “The False Dichotomy Wins Again!,” and decidedly re-shared it, along with a new commentary…

My Original Commentary: The false dichotomy wins again!

My New Commentary: Always relevant, sadly…

Deciphering Orwellian Newspeak

The following correspondence originally took place upon the Facebook wall of an acquaintance, after she shared a captioned photo from here...

Tara M.:

Arizona State lawmakers approved legislation Wednesday that encourages more killing of Mexican gray wolves despite their listing under federal law as endangered. PLEASE contact Governor Jan Brewer and urge her to veto SB1211, HB2699, SCR1006, and any other anti-wolf bills that come to her desk. According to the Governor’s office, they have received loads of call thus far. So please add your voice and make a call for the lobo!
(It takes less than a minute)

Rayn: “Lawmaker” is Orwellian newspeak for “criminal.”

John N.: Can I Hunter the hunters

Rayn: “Hunters” is newspeak for “poachers.”

John N.: Exactly let me lay in the woods with a high powered rifle and hunt them. See how.they like that shit.

The False Dichotomy Wins Again!

As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following artwork here, being shared by the page, “Think. It’s Not Illegal Yet,” and originally posted it to my own wall, along with commentary…
