(Amy B Wang) At first, Kenneth Walton thought the Arizona state trooper following him and his 7-year-old daughter wanted to warn him of a broken taillight.
They were in a rental car, on a stretch of Interstate 40 between Las Vegas and Flagstaff, Ariz., on what was supposed to be a fun Grand Canyon vacation. It was dark, and Walton knew he hadn’t been speeding, so — not thinking much of it — he pulled over on an off-ramp, rolled down his driver’s side window and waited.
That’s when things went “terribly awry,” according to the San Francisco man’s account of what happened last Thursday.
“Tonight, I was arrested at gunpoint by an Arizona highway patrol officer who threatened to shoot me in the back (twice) in front of my 7-year-old daughter,” Walton wrote on Facebook, hours after the incident. “For a moment, I was certain he was going to kill me for no reason. I’m alive, and I need to share the story.”
(Ramzy Baroud) Everyone seems to have a theory on how to obliterate ISIS, or ‘Daesh’. However, two points are rarely raised: one, concerning the origins of the group and the second, on whether there are genuine intentions to defeat it, in the first place.
We must boldly address the first to unravel the enigma behind the rise and growth of ‘Daesh’ – otherwise, how else can the group be dismantled.
We must contend with the second point before engaging in superfluous discussions about the most appropriate war strategy – that if war is, at all, the answer.

Ashley Gabrielle Huff was kidnapped and thrown into a cage, where she ended up spending 47 days, after police searched the car she was a passenger in, and discovered a SpaghettiO-encrusted spoon they believed was “meth”
(Barry Donegan) “Uh oh, SpaghettiOs.” 23-year-old Gainesville, Georgia woman Ashley Gabrielle Huff was released from Hall County Jail on Thursday September 18 after residue, found on a spoon in a car in which she was a passenger, tested positive for SpaghettiOs, rather than crystal meth. According to Gainesville Times, she was arrested on July 2 by the Gainesville Police Department on felony meth possession charges when the encrusted spoon was found, as officers believed the dried spaghetti sauce to be residual meth particles. She maintained her innocence from the beginning, pointing out immediately that the spoon had been used for its intended purpose — eating food, rather than as drug paraphernalia.

Diana B.: No occupation or settlements in Jamaica….hmmmmmm…..
“Grammy-award winning artist, Sean Paul, is receiving death threats, and being told not to perform in Algeria. Why? His grandfather is Jewish. Anti-Zionism = Hatred of the Jewish people. Always has. Always will. #ZionStandUp”
Rayn: Algeria is in Africa, not Jamaica. And, many Algerians paid for tickets to see Sean Paul perform his music live, having not even the slightest concern for his family heritage. That is why the event’s promoter has so-far refused to cave in to the racist demands of what is apparently a fringe group, who don’t at all represent the majority of Algerians…
Diana B.: still, he is being threatened with death…why???
