The Dark Roots of the Pharmacy

The following correspondence originally took place upon the Facebook wall of my friend, Ann Yahu…

Ann Yahu:

“The person who takes medicine must recover twice: once from the disease and once from the medicine.” – William Osler, M.D.

Have you ever looked up the word pharmacy? (n.) Look up pharmacy at Dictionary.com
late 14c., “a medicine,” from Old French farmacie “a purgative” (13c.), from Medieval Latin pharmacia, from Greek pharmakeia “use of drugs, medicines, potions, or spells; poisoning, WITCHCRAFT; remedy, cure,” from pharmakeus (fem. pharmakis) “preparer of drugs, poisoner, sorcerer” from pharmakon “drug, poison, philter, charm, spell, enchantment.” Meaning “use or administration of drugs” is attested from c. 1400; that of “place where drugs are prepared and dispensed” is first recorded 1833. The ph- was restored 16c. in French, 17c. in English (see ph). MANY DON’T KNOW THE MEANING OF WHAT PHARMACY TRULY IS. THIS IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THOSE WHO PRACTICE THIS DEADLY ABOMINATION. Rev 21:8 “But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.” I stopped years ago pain meds for headaches just peppermint oil Peppermint tea leaves and tea for pain! We all a work in progress
