(Anita Chabria & Phillip Rees) Two Sacramento police officers attempted to run over a mentally ill homeless man with their car less than 35 seconds before they shot and killed him, according to recordings released by police this month.

One of the officers says “f— this guy” in the frantic final minute before they shot Joseph Mann on Del Paso Boulevard. Moments later, the driver says, “I’m going to hit him.”

“OK. Go for it. Go for it,” his partner responds.

My Commentary: “Fuck this guy.” “I’m going to hit him.” “Go for it.”

If you don’t pay your taxes, the State won’t be able to “take care” of the homeless! Do you have no compassion for the poor, you selfish savage?

But, Without Government, Who Would Abuse and Torture the Mentally Ill?

(Julie K. Brown) The purported details of Darren Rainey’s last hour are difficult to read.

“I can’t take it no more, I’m sorry. I won’t do it again,’’ he screamed over and over, according to a grievance complaint from a fellow inmate, as Rainey was allegedly locked in a shower with the scalding water turned on full blast.

A 50-year-old mentally ill inmate at the Dade Correctional Institution, Rainey was pulled into the locked shower by prison guards as punishment after defecating in his cell and refusing to clean it up, said the fellow inmate, who worked as an orderly. He was left there unattended for more than an hour as the narrow chamber filled with steam and water.

When guards finally checked on prisoner 060954, he was on his back and dead. His skin was so burned that it had shriveled from his body, a condition referred to as slippage, according to a medical document involving the death.

My Commentary: Three staff members have since come forward to confirm allegations of abuse, and more:

Discussing Eugenics as Alive and Well in America

The following correspondence originally took place on my Facebook wall, upon my post, “Eugenics Alive and Well in America”…

Rayn: Eugenics is still alive and well in America.

“Mentally ill people are four times more likely to be killed by police”

Morgan S.: I thought it the other way around ..

Rayn: The stats in the image I shared are from the Department of Justice, Morgan. Can you cite any sources to support your mentioned belief?

Jason R.: yup

Eugenics Alive and Well in America

U.S.: Number of Mentally Ill in Prisons Quadrupled:

Rayn: Thanks for sharing this important news! History is pretty clear on this point: either protect all forms of innocence, or expect the eventually enslavement of all. “In as much as you have done in to one of the least of my brethren, you have done it unto me.”

These statistics remind me of America’s homeless figures, which I always keep handy. 20-25% of homeless individuals suffer from some severe form of mental illness:
http://www.nationalhomeless.org/factsheets/Mental_Illness.pdf

In separate research studies, 25% of homeless were determined to be veterans of the armed forces:
http://www.nationalhomeless.org/factsheets/veterans.html

Meanwhile, 39% of homeless individuals are minors – under the age of 18:

Although we might expect figures like these from a third-world nation, they represent one of the top ten wealthiest countries in the world! As an industrial nation, America’s stats are simply pathologically pathetic!
