As I scrolled through my Facebook memories, I discovered the following artwork here, being shared by the page, “Voluntaryism is Freedom,” which I originally posted to my own wall in June of 2016, and decidedly re-shared it, while adding a commentary…

“Statism: The brilliant idea that we give a small group of people the right to kidnap, steal from, and kill us, so that we can be ‘protected’ from people who kidnap, steal from, and kill us.”

My Commentary: Critical thinking is mandatory in the quest for enlightenment.

(note: though I previously shared a slightly different version of this artwork in April of 2014, within my post, “The Ridiculous Logic of Statism,” I still felt compelled to offer up an alternative commentary when I saw it again, due to the inspiring nature of these words)

Idaho Boy Injured, Family Dog Killed by Government “Cyanide Bomb”:

A “cyanide bomb” planted by U.S. predator-control agents targeting coyotes near homes and hiking trails in Idaho exploded when a boy handled the device, injuring him and killing his dog, authorities and relatives said on Friday.

Canyon Mansfield, 14, was playing with his yellow Labrador retriever, Casey, on Thursday afternoon near his home east of Pocatello when he saw what he thought was a sprinkler head on the ground and touched the device, causing it to detonate.

The explosion sprayed the boy and his 3-year-old, 90-pound (40 kg) pet with toxic cyanide gas, according to the boy’s mother, Theresa Mansfield.

When combining the officially-acknowledged, yet incomplete, government-reported numbers of casualties from drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, and Afghanistan, the most modest possible totals show that between 616 – 1,258 civilians were killed, which includes between 186 – 241 children.

During Obama’s presidency, between 449 – 926 of the above-mentioned civilians casualties occurred (about 72.9% – 73.6% of the totals), which includes between 80 – 112 children (about 43 % – 46.5% of the totals). This is just more bipartisan criminality taking place in the ludicrous, endless “War on Terror.”

Oh, and this doesn’t even include US drone operations occurring in Iraq, Libya and Syria…
