Discussing the Concept of Statist Flags

The following correspondence originally took place on my Facebook wall, upon my post, “Critical Thinking is Key!“..

Rayn: Critical thinking. It’s what’s for dinner.

“Allegiance to a flag is… a poor substitute to thinking for yourself.”

“Allegiance to a flag is… a poor substitute to thinking for yourself.”

John T.: Really, what’s a flag? A meani

ng that dead people gave it. Now, the governing new people of the flag don’t follow the same meanings but they keep the allegiances of the people…

Rayn: It’s third-order simulacra, in action.

John T.: Man your smart and its so amazing… Simulacra, I like that word…

Shrine of the Statists

As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following artwork here, being shared by the page, “Statism Is Slavery,” and originally posted it to my own wall, along with commentary…

"Shrine of the Statists," by Ben Garrison

“Shrine of the Statists” (by Ben Garrison)

My Commentary: There should be one more worshiper in the scene, tossing an Afghani baby into the flames, claiming it to be a “necessary sacrifice” in order to keep us “safe” from the “terrorism” of “disbelievers,” who are just too extremist to accept their militarily-executed and enforced “liberation” by “Big Guv.”

Bow Down, All Ye Faithful!

As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following artwork here, being shared by the page, “End US Wars and Occupations,” and originally posted it to my own wall, along with commentary…

"Those who blindly follow Obama are just as foolish as those who blindly followed George W. Bush"

“Those who blindly follow Obama are just as foolish as those who blindly followed George W. Bush”

My Commentary: ‎”Bow down before the one you serve. You’re going to get what you deserve.” – Trent Rezner

“Faith” is a Fine Invention

As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following artwork here, being shared by the page, “Liberty Evolution,” and originally posted it to my own wall, along with commentary…

"Statism: the world's most popular religion"

My Commentary: ” ‘Faith’ is a fine invention
When Gentlemen can see —
But Microscopes are prudent
In an Emergency. ”
