Mail Bomb Suspect Should Have Been Regularly Ticketed for His Sticker-Covered Van

My Commentary: How was the suspect able to drive his sticker-covered van around, without being regularly ticketed by the road pirates in blue?

2018 Florida Statute, 316.2004:2(b):

”No person shall drive any motor vehicle with any sign, poster, or other nontransparent material upon the front windshield, side wings, or side or rear windows of such vehicle which materially obstructs, obscures, or impairs the driver’s clear view of the highway or any intersecting highway.”

As Expected, Analysis of Recent Mail Bombs So Far Reveals Flawed Non-Explosive Devices

(Jonathan DienstTom WinterPete WilliamsJoe ValiquetteMarc SantiaJennifer Millman and Benjamin Carroll) A nationwide manhunt is underway for the culprit or culprits responsible for targeting critics of President Donald Trump with crudely made mail bombs — some of which investigators say were so flawed were incapable of detonating.

As of Thursday evening — several days after the first device was found at the New York home of billionaire George Soros — there were still no leads on a suspect in the case. It also remains unclear if their builder intended for them to actually explode or were part of some politically motivated hoax.

While Mail Bomb Suspect Identifies as Native American, His Father Was Filipino Immigrant

(Daniel Chang, David Smiley) From the pro-Trump stickers on his white van to the profile information on his Twitter account, Cesar Sayoc, the Aventura man arrested Friday for allegedly mailing pipe bombs to prominent Democrats, trumpets his affiliation to the Seminole Tribe of Florida.

“Native Americans for Trump” reads one sticker of the Seminole flag posted on the white passenger van that police towed from the AutoZone in Plantation where Sayoc, 56, was arrested.

My Commentary: While the bombing suspect self-identifies as Native American, he appears to have a Filipino father, who emigrated to the US to became a naturalized citizen in 1970…

Suspected Mail Bomber Used Twitter to Threaten Others, With No Consequences

(Kelly Weill and Will Sommer) Cesar A. Sayoc, the Florida man reported to be the mail bombing suspect, frequently posted conspiratorial pro-Trump messages on Twitter or made threats to Democratic leaders, including some who would later receive potentially explosive devices in the mail this week.

Sayoc—who was named by several national media outlets as the man authorities arrested Friday in connection with the attempted bombings—tweeted frequently from what appears to be his account: @hardrock2016.

My Commentary: So, once again, just like with the recent Florida shooter, this nut was making threats through Twitter, with no real consequences – even as the same service bans individuals for posting police brutality videos. And, this suspect’s van turns out to be covered with even more threats, as photos of multiple politicians and celebrities are displayed within the bulls-eye crosshairs of a gun scope… He’s already been arrested for making terroristic threats against a judge, too…
