U.S. Military Taught Officers: Use ‘Hiroshima’ Tactics for ‘Total War’ on Islam

"Important Perspectives to Consider When Viewing this Model: (1) Some actions offered for consideration here will be seen as not 'politically correct' in the eyes of many, both inside and outside of the United States (i.e. Decision Points considered in PH III where Saudia Arabia threatened with starvation, Mecca and Medina destroyed, Islam reduced to cult status). (2) This model presumes Geneva Convention IV 1949 standards of armed conflict and the pursuant UN endorsement of it are now, due to the current common practices of Islamic terrorists, no longer relevant or respected globally. This would leave open the option once against of taking war to a civilian population whenever necessary (this historical precedents of Dresden, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki being applicable to the Mecca and Medina destruction DP in Phase III). (3) This model presumes we have already failed at Phase I - 'Deterrence' therefore Phase I is not shown as part of this OP Design framework. (4) This odel restates previous internationally accepted Geneva Conventions for protections afforded to combatants captured in uniform and reiterates removal of protections for those who are caught fighting/operating out of uniform (sovs, terrorists, criminals). (5) Against 'non-state actors' do the Geneva conventions of 1949 now need redefinition / clarification?"

U.S. Military Taught Officers: Use ‘Hiroshima’ Tactics for ‘Total War’ on Islam:
http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2012/05/total-war-islam

(Noah Shachtman and Spencer AckermanWired.com) The U.S. military taught its future leaders that a “total war” against the world’s 1.4 billion Muslims would be necessary to protect America from Islamic terrorists, according to documents obtained by Danger Room. Among the options considered for that conflict: using the lessons of “Hiroshima” to wipe out whole cities at once, targeting the “civilian population wherever necessary.”

My Commentary: In pure WAR CRIMINAL fashion, the US military taught officers that America’s Nuclear Holocaust against Japan is a worthy example of how best to deal with Islamic nations, because the “current common practices of Islamic terrorists” apparently “leave open the option once again of taking war to civilian population wherever necessary.”

John Yoo, the UC Berkeley law professor who penned legal memos that provided cover for President George W. Bush’s torture program, can’t be sued by one of the victims of that program, a federal appeals court ruled Wednesday.

The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals said Jose Padilla, an American citizen arrested in 2002 and declared an “enemy combatant,” may not hold professor John Yoo liable for “gross physical and psychological abuse” that Padilla said he suffered during more than three years of military detention, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The American military claimed responsibility and expressed regret for an airstrike that mistakenly killed six members of a family in southwestern Afghanistan, Afghan and American military officials confirmed Monday.

The attack, which took place Friday night, was first revealed by the governor of Helmand Province, Muhammad Gulab Mangal, on Monday. His spokesman, Dawoud Ahmadi, said that after an investigation they had determined that a family home in the Sangin district had been attacked by mistake in the American airstrike, which was called in to respond to a Taliban attack.

Mr. Mangal summoned the American regional commander, Maj. Gen. Charles M. Gurganus of the Marines, to complain, and General Gurganus apologized, Mr. Ahmadi said.
