Due to the fact that the world narrowly averted a global avian flu pandemic this month due to the diligence of the good individuals at the National Microbiology Laboratory in Canada, I decided to further research the topic today, and came upon this article, dated January 19, 2009. As it turns out, the company responsible for almost causing the above-mentioned bio-disaster, Baxter International Inc., just so happens to own the rights to “Celvapan,” the world’s first cell-culture based H5N1 (avian flu) pandemic vaccine! Apparently, though it’s still in trial stages, it is very close to receiving full market authorization from the European Union. In other words, if a global avian flu pandemic ever did take place, Baxter International would be in a position to make a great deal of money!!!

Rayn: Well, since Baxter made no real effort to cover their tracks, and destroyed no evidence, as I found this article online relatively easily (they could have had it removed), I’d say they more resemble a diseased parasite – feeding on its host until its host dies, even at the risk of dying itself!

“Organic” foods are simply foods grown naturally, without the use of chemical pesticides, fertilizers or hormones. Refined food products that bear the seal, “USDA ORGANIC,” are still processed in plants, where health and safety conditions within factor into the overall quality of the final product. Buying whole foods that are washed and prepared in the home will significantly reduce the possibility of exposure to these types of bacterial and/or viral contaminates.

When buying eggs or milk, consider the treatment, diet and living conditions of livestock, as well. Go beyond the “organic” seal. Look for products that also say “cage-free” or “free-range,” and “vegetarian.”

Rayn: Strange that you mention GM foods. I’ve been planning to post the link to an article about the dangers of the Monsanto company and their GM seeds. I believe that GMOs are another form of “genetic vandalism” against Nature.

Thomas Pr.: All tomatoes are GM. You want Burpee seeds for your window sill cherry tomato vines?
Its Monsanto, and don’t be surprised if you become addicted to them. There is old man nicotine in the roots (leaves).

Rayn: Damn! I didn’t know that! You learn something new every day! I bet Monsanto will claim that they genetically modify their tomatoes with nicotine because it is a natural pesticide. While this is true, I’d love to see the studies that show the longterm effects of this sort of abominable creation on the human body! Or, how about the ecosystem, once the wind kicks up and the natural crossbreeding begins?! Unlike this insanity, true good science is well-rounded, taking consideration of all factors, and making the necessary modifications required to achieve substancial positive advancement – without creating more problems! GMO is is psuedo-scientific corporatism at its worse since “eugenics”! Please take the time to post your “Phylogeny of an Accursed Progeny” paper in the “notes” section of your Facebook page, as I would definitely love to read it, as well as comment on it! The title alone draws my attention!

For years now, I have been warning my family and friends about the dangers of certain household products. From non-stick cookware, to plastic bottles, to antibacterial hand cleaners, to compact fluorescent bulbs, the list of everyday items that contain toxic chemicals is surisingly long, and the array of hazardous ingredients they harbor not only have the ability to make you very sick, but also poison the environment, as well!

I stop drinking tap water because of chlorine, flouride, and all the other poisons, and turns out that I am drinking another form of poison, but actually paying hard earned money for it!

Rayn: This is how some of these evil, soulless corporations and governments operate. With multi-faceted attacks using soft-kill weapons, they hope to clandestinely sicken most of the population, while keeping true investigators scratching their heads trying to figure out why everyone is getting sick. We the people are being indiscriminately force-“medicated” by our own government under the pretense of good hygeine. And, since there is no regulation whatsoever to this “medicating” of the public, those who drink more water, or use more, or stronger deodorants, are increasing the amount of “medication” they put into their body. This goes against the entire idea of even western medicine.

Did you know that, while fluoride is toxic, along with aluminum, these poisons are not nearly as bad for you as the effects of combining them together in your body? As a team, these toxins will leech the calcium right out of your teeth and bones, and slowly make you weak and sick. They will also settle together into your brain, contributing to Alzheimer’s disease. To put it another way, the fluoride in your drinking water is not fully toxically “activated” until you adminster your daily dose of aluminum-based “antiperspirant” deodorant under your arms (incidentally, this area contains the two largest lymph nodes in the body). Because of this, it is difficult to legally blame fluoride alone or aluminum alone for much of the sicknesses they cause together. And, the companies that make these poisons are happy to hide behind this legal gray area. FDA regulation put them under no obligation to do any studies to show how the chemicals in their products interact with chemicals in other products.

Rayn: I just got back from enjoying the movie, “Surrogates,” with Genaire.

Jonathan P.: You enjoyed that movie? I think it was dissappointing

Rayn: To answer you all, the movie definitely could have been better, but it was entertaining enough! It was at worth at least a single viewing! The writers had a good premise, and therefore, a lot of material to work with, but, in the end, they didn’t do anything truly spectacular with the plot. They had all the makings for something cinematically spectacular and mind-bending, like the Matrix, or even Twelve Monkeys, but instead, opted for a clean, mainstream Hollywood storyline. Rather than be inundated by what seemed like an endless stream of chase scenes and special effects, I was much more interested in understanding the intricacies holding together this story, such as the psychology behind the characters in this movie. I would have liked to learn exactly why each character picked the particular “surrogate” they did, with the look it had. However, this was only superficially explored. There was very little in the movie about how the surrogates affected class distinction – something that would have been very interesting. Also, I would have liked to see more background about the one community that rejected all forms of technology.
