(Mo Barnes) The story of Dallas officer Amber Guyger, who killed an unarmed Botham Jean, is starting to unravel quickly.
First, Guyger claimed that Jean confronted her at the door, and then she said that she attempted to use her key and the door was ajar. When she entered the apartment, Guyger alleged that she saw a dark silhouette, believed an intruder was in her home and fired her weapon twice striking Jean in the chest, killing him.
Now, media outlet Inside Edition has punched a huge hole in her story with a video tour of Jean’s apartment.
My Commentary: The “sure slam” door system that other residents in the building mentioned is now confirmed, along with the red door mat outside the victim’s apartment.
