Never Submit, Nor Surrender Dreams, Ideas and Identity to “Leaders”

As I scrolled through my Facebook news feed, I discovered the following artwork here, being shared by the page, “Zero Aggression,” and originally posted it to my own wall, along with commentary…

“Those of us who submitted or surrendered our ideas and dreams and identities to the ‘leaders’ must take back our rights, our identities, our responsibilities.” – Maya Angelou (born April 4, 1928)

My Commentary: “Emancipate yourself from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds.” – Robert Nesta Marley
